Best performance, ever. Albert Finney is a master at his craft. He is truly inspiring in all scenes and in this scene in particular he shines as the example for all actors to aspire to. Love that man. :)

This film brings back warm memories. The best musical version of Dickens' "ghostly little book" ever. Finney was superb in this - and this sequence never ceases to make me weep. Merry Christmas!!!

Scrooge has always been my favorite version of A Christmas Carol. Not only is the music good and Albert Finney does a wonderful job. But after the spirits' visit, Albert Finney does the most wonderful job of showing someone who has found their salvation and is starting anew. In other versions they are mostly walking about talking about the change, (even when they are singing) but Albert Finney is practically singing it on the mountains.
