I was doing this program from end of November 2019 - end of February 2020 and lost 25 pounds. unfortunately, I kept hitting health roadblocks and eventually gave up. Pandemic came I & I gained 50 pounds back :( it's now 10/12/2023 - somewhere between then and now I managed to lose that full 50 pounds+ before even starting to work out again.
A few weeks ago, I started with Leslie Sansone's 30-minute workout, eventually started walking 2 miles outside and now I'm doing this 40-minute video. Every workout has benefits and disadvantages but this 40 minute one seems to be my favorite!

the 30 minute one of course is less time but doesn't feel complete or long enough (for me) but it does get me a great workout full of sweat.

outside walking I enjoy because it's fresh air, new surroundings to enjoy and when I do the hills my heart is SERIOUSLY pounding but every time my shin hurts directly up the front and that's completely uncomfortable, also outside walks don't involve my upper body much. However, I was seeing great muscle growth in my legs because of the hills. also 6-pound weight gain since starting to walk outside.

40-minute walk with Leslie is my "pocket" of comfort, I guess. Full body movement, upper body engaged really elevates the heart rate, no shin pain, comfort in my home & long enough to feel like I did a little "more" than necessary.


in total I've been exercising for 1-month. Friday will be the end of week 5. I have dropped 9 pounds now ...but the last 3 days I've only been eating dinner and no snacking. whether weight loss is from not eating, muscle loss, exercise or a combination of all these things I'm not sure. I've also been doing my workouts late at night now. Wondering if this will help lower my fasting glucose level since I've gotten my A1C down to 6 but my fasting number continues to remain high at 158.


so yeah ... I have much more to lose. I will try to remain determined to continue on this journey. Wish me Success!
