Second album Cover, Protective, Individual saw the band adding Middle Eastern influences, electronics, and horns, with Left Off The Dial describing it as "a dark, engaging, and musically interesting album", and Splendid Magazine making comparisons with Led Zeppelin and describing the album as a "sonic gem", while Skratch magazine described it as "rich, mysterious, and sobering". This was my first release back in 1990, I was called Katherine Wood before I married Max Ellis, covering this great Crowded House song was my idea, we made a video which i can't find on the web but was on heavy rotation on MTV at the time and people were recognising me on the bus lol, it was Pete Tong's record of the week for a month and led on to some very cool projects. I remember Paul Young seeing me perform it at The Borderline, he went on to have a hit with it as well.
