The music has always been the center of gravity in the life of the Levant. "I started singing as a child," says the same Sun, "like all children improvised melodies and words with their eyes to the sky ... With the same eyes pointed toward the sky, years later I found it in the music my salvation, my outlet, my diary, my freedom. "
Around to eleven Levante began writing the first word, inspired by simple melodies that could compose with the guitar. "It was really a diary for me, music and sometimes I let a few trusted family member to read it," so goes the rocker Catania, "And that's how they found me at home, that passion that perhaps he was looking for a way to present itself to the public. " It was Aunt Tiziana, hit by a lot of enthusiasm, to bring to the pounding grandson of the first test.
But in 2001, from the beloved Sicilian sky Levante had to move down to Turin, to be honest not so fragrant orange blossoms and azure as the sky of Sicily, but certainly very challenging from a musical standpoint. In Turin in fact the teenager Levante has grown musically and knew his traveling companions ... The ephemeris.
For Levante Ephemeris are the landmark musical. A little 'as the North Star for the sailors. On stage or in the recording studio with them behind Levante know that you always have the right "shot" in his performances. But the ephemeris are a lot more. In the best tradition of rock share her passion, enthusiasm, laughter, miles and sandwiches ...

Ho infilato la testa sott'acqua
La storia più forte di ieri
Ma va bene così, tra mezz'ora poi passa
Sono stupidi quelli che pensano che sia tutto uguale a ieri
Anche i miei desideri
E mi regalerò, a Natale
Proverò anche così con i denti stretti
Sei sempre la cosa più in alto tra quei buchi neri
Dei miei desideri
In tre minuti di sogno forse arriverò
In tre minuti di sogno forse arriverò
Oh
Oh
Oh
Oh
Oh
Oh
Oh
Oh
Di sicuro no, ma ci spero
Di smetterla di chiedermi cos'è vero, o nero
In due minuti di sogno forse arriverò
In due minuti di sogno forse arriverò
In fondo al Messico
Oh
Oh
Oh
Oh
Oh
Oh
Oh
Oh
The first verse of Levante’s song Nuvola begins with “Come sto, meglio di no” which translates to “How am I? Not very good.” The singer is experiencing some sort of pain, but is able to distract herself from it by “infilato la testa sott’acqua” or sticking her head underwater – a metaphor for trying to escape reality. She acknowledges the strength of the story from the day before but is willing to let it pass because she believes that those who think everything is the same as yesterday are foolish.
In the second verse, the singer reveals that she plans to treat herself to an “album delle figure di merda” or a collection of embarrassing photographs. Although it seems like a strange choice, it could be viewed as an attempt to process the pains of the past and move forward. She acknowledges that her dreams (or desires) are still with her and that this person (presumably her lover) is at the top of her desires.
The chorus is repetitive, with the singer wondering if she will arrive at her dreams in two or three minutes, but acknowledging that it is unlikely. She expresses the desire to stop questioning the truth and focus on herself.
Overall, Nuvola appears to be a song about processing pain and attempting to move on from it. The singer acknowledges the strength of the pain, but is willing to let it pass. She’s willing to treat herself to something that others might see as embarrassing in order to process the emotions that come with heartbreak. The chorus shows her longing for a quick fix, a shift in mindset from pain to pleasure.
