Sing Sing Sing
Lighthouse Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
In Lighthouse's song Sing Sing Sing, the artist seems to be expressing a desire to let go of all their troubles and worries through the power of music. The lyrics suggest that the artist wants to share their music with the world and hopes that others will feel the same sense of freedom and release that they do. The repeated refrain of "sing, sing, sing" is a call to action, urging everyone to join in and participate in the creation of something beautiful that can bring people together.
The song also touches on the idea that even though we all have our own problems and struggles, the act of singing together can help to ease those burdens and bring people closer. The artist acknowledges that they may not be able to solve everyone's problems or be a part of everyone's dreams, but they are still asking others to be a part of theirs. Overall, Sing Sing Sing is an uplifting and joyful song that speaks to the power of music to unite and heal.

I don't think I'm crazy
I have doubts but I'm not insane

I have reservations but I'm still sane
I'm going to sing these troubles out of my life
I'll use music to overcome my challenges
I just wanna have a good time
I'm seeking happiness and enjoyment
I've kept it inside of my soul for so long
I've been hiding my feelings for a while
Feels like I'm coming undone
I feel like I'm falling apart
I've got so much music inside of my head
I have a lot of creative ideas
I want to share it with everyone
I want to express myself to others

An expression of agreement
Sing, sing it louder
Sing with more energy and enthusiasm

Encouraging the youth to join in singing
Sing it out loud so everyone hears
Sing with volume and clarity
Sing, sing, sing, sing

Sing it out loud so the words are clear
Focus on enunciation and clarity

I've had international experiences
Things I ain't seen and done
Yet there is still much left to discover
One thing I seen everywhere I've been
A universal observation from my travels
People get the blues on the run, yeah
People everywhere experience sadness at times
