Atoms

I wanted to wallow, I wanted somebody to rub my neck. Yeah, you should be
Happy to see me, be glad that I'm not dead. I tokk your bullet, anyone
Notice? no one was thrilled to see me again. - Dream your dreams, you'll
Wanna take them back, nobody gives a fuck about what you see. You split
Your last atom, Atom Jack.
In "Atoms," Like describes an experience of isolation and desperation, with vivid imagery of rats, silver, and a desire to escape. The first lines evoke a sense of being trapped, as the singer describes trying to hop a fence and wading, as if they are looking for a way out. The reference to wanting someone to rub their neck adds a physical element to the feeling of being stuck, as if the singer is carrying a physical burden with them.
The second stanza contains the most poignant lines of the song, as it switches from the physical world to a more existential one. The singer talks about dreaming dreams and taking them back, suggesting that perhaps they once had hope, but that it has since been lost or taken away. The line "you split your last atom, Atom Jack" could be interpreted in a number of ways, but it suggests a sense of finality or desperation: splitting atoms is often used as a metaphor for destruction, and the repetition of "Atom" emphasizes the feeling of being at the end.
Throughout the song, Like's lyrics are cryptic and open to interpretation, which is part of what makes the song so haunting. It is not clear what has led the singer to this point, but the sense of being alone and disconnected is palpable. The song ends with the lines "Nobody gives a fuck about what you see," further emphasizing the idea that the singer is alone in their experience, and that their view of the world is not valued or appreciated.

@evilotis01
hey, what did you use to render these? is your Google search for Blender 2.9's geometry nodes functionality a clue? :)
@swedneck
It would help a lot of the visuals were published under a permissive license like CC-BY-SA

Releasing these under Creative Commons would be amazing – seconding the suggestion.
It would also make it possible for Wikipedia to use these visualizations, with proper attribution.
@physicsgirl
Leave it to Henry to use custom python code in Blender to make pretty pretty physics.
@EyesOfByes
This reminds me of the VFX artists creating the black hole from Interstellar, with actual math. Nature can be really beautifu all by itself
