Overall Meaning

In Lil Boosie's song "Bankroll," he talks about his early experiences with money and how he learned to make a fortune. He sends this song out to his friends who are also grinding to get rich. Boosie also talks about his childhood role model, catamisk big bank rolls, who taught him how to hustle and make money. Boosie learned how to serve, and by the time he was 16, he had big knots of money in his Dickey pants. His plug for weed and cain helped him make lots of money and grow his bankroll.

After Trell came home, Boosie was given everything he threw, which included a lot of money. Lil Ivy taught him about bankrolls, and Boosie realized he could get rich with cain and weed. After six months of making bankroll moves, he realized he could make millions with the right grind. Boosie also raps about how he satisfies his "addiction" for money by making sure he always has a lot of it. Even with baby mamas and drama, Boosie still shines and grinds, eventually making his way to New York City and talking about another million.

All in all, Lil Boosie's song "Bankroll" is about getting rich and making money, even when there are obstacles in the way. Through his understanding of hustling and his experiences with money, he encourages his listeners to make their own bank rolls.
