One thing that always hit me in the feelings was stories of Peep going shopping with his mum, especially before he moved out to pursue music seriously. It resonates with me because I’ve spent a lot of time with my mum, doing mundane shopping trips that still hold up as nice memories. I’m leaving home soon and recently I’ve reflected on my teenage years listening to artists like Gus. A lot of them have passed away, especially from that 2010s Soundcloud/YouTube music scene. It’s crazy I’m only 22 yet I’ve outlived a lot of them. Anyway, this was a drawn out comment that I just felt like getting off of my mind.
