Spencer first released a song called "Like a Superstar" in late 2018 and got super popular as a joke, surpassing 600+ plays in over 2 days. Spencer released his song Know That in early 2020 and then dropped his first EP Mixed Feelings later on, and was working on it for quite awhile, one of his songs on there She was made in late 2018, and is one of his only songs without autotune.
