Patrick Lanshaw, or Lil Wyte, is a member of the Memphis, Tennessee rap collective Hypnotize Camp Posse. Lil Wyte began his career with the all-white underground rap group Shelby Forest Clique. His first album Doubt Me Now, produced by DJ Paul & Juicy J of Three 6 Mafia, sold over 130,000 copies independently. The success from this album sparked interest with Warner Music Group which would result in a distribution deal for the Hypnotize Minds label and his second album, Phinally Phamous.
His first album had an underground hit, especially popular with the drug sub-culture, for the song about abusing prescription pills, "Oxy Cotton". So far, both of his albums have carried on a rap tradition of having a Smokin' Song (a song detailing smoking marijuana) included on them. His first release actually had a song titled "My Smokin' Song" on it. He expanded on this theme with his second album having a song named "My Drinking Song".

Hatas' talkin'
But hatas ain't walkin'
Until this fucking fight
These hatas ain't walkin'
Until this
Bitch slap that sucka!
Bitch slap that sucka!
Bitch slap that sucka!
Hatas' talkin'
But hatas ain't walkin'
Until this fucking fight
These hatas ain't walkin'
Until this
Bitch slap that sucka!
Bitch slap that sucka!
Bitch slap that sucka!
Bitch slap that sucka!
Yeah they call me Lil' Wyte
I'm back out on tha grind
I'm drankin' everyday
I'm smokin' on some pine
I gotta do it big
Until the day I day
You cool with me in my face
But a hater in disguise (What?)
You can get slapped down
When I'm your town
Poppin' off some rounds
When I'm on that crown
We usually pull up slow
With lights off and guns drawn
Everything bout to go
You ain't no hood ? might go home
Take it easy
They don't want shit
Except yo life
They'll even take a small fry
Some coke and your wife
You should of thought about circumstances
Repercussions and consequences
But you didn't
Now your swimmin' somewhere in the Mississippi
[Chorus]
I ain't goin' no where
I been chillin' in the same cut
Smokin' on the same blunt
Feelin' on the same butt
Still fuck with the six
Still roll wit some killas'
Still hang wit a big cliche
And kick it wit drug dealers
So, whatcha' wanna do?
I can have your whole crew
Hog tied, buried alive
Underneath the swimmin' pool
But, no I'm not a evil dude
In fact I'm pretty fuckin' humble
Four hundred thousand records
In the pit, ya hear my stomach bubble
I'm just gettin' started pimpin'
You ain't seen retarded pimpin'
Fuck it, I'll be modest to me
I'm the fucking hardest pimpin'
I can't spit it harmless
And horrific and the same time
Kill ya, bring ya to life
And get ya high with the same rhyme
[Chorus]
OK you, ask me how I do it
I call it white boy magic
I'm not the only one rich
I just flash it with a passion
Shoulda been missin' in action
But now I'm back
White rappers better duck and hide
And for all the hatas I have arrived
So guard your grill
And avert your eyes
Smoke on, keep cheifin'
Ain't tryin' to ruin your weekend
But I'll fuck your mother though
And show you the real me
Then I'm theifin'
I be grindin'
While you whinin'
I be shinin' like a diamond
You thought that this dirt would still get work
Even if I was a realtor buildin' dollars
But, keep your head up
I was not tryin' to destroy your dreams
Like Katt Williams said "It's all good pimpin', you can hate on me"
The more you talk
The more it let me know
How walkers do it faster
Keep your mouth open
Runnin' at all times
Motha fucka
[Chorus]
The song "Talkin' Ain't Walkin'" by Lil Wyte speaks against the people who only talk about their dreams, but never make an effort to achieve them. The chorus repeatedly emphasizes that haters talk a lot, but until they put up a fight, they don't mean anything. Lil Wyte is a rapper who is back in action and is drinking every day and smoking on "some pine," referring to marijuana. He aims to make it big and keeps going until he dies. However, he is aware that some people pretend to be cool with him to his face but are, in fact, haters in disguise. He warns them that they can get slapped when he is in their town and popping off, which means when he is partying or celebrating. He stresses that there will be repercussions and consequences for those who did not think through their actions.
In the second verse, Lil Wyte makes it clear that he has not gone anywhere and is still doing the same things. He keeps it gangster, hanging out with killers and drug dealers. He asks what anyone wants to do because he can have the whole crew hogtied and buried alive under the swimming pool, but he is not an evil person and is genuinely humble. He has sold 400 thousand records, and he is not even done yet as he claims to be just getting started. He admits that he can spit both harmless and horrific things in the same rhyme, and while he is not trying to ruin anyone's weekend or dreams, he will show them the real him and steal them.
The song's overall message is to push people towards action instead of just talking about it. Lil Wyte's lyrics provide an example of what people can accomplish with hard work, dedication, and talent.

Hatas' talkin'
People who dislike me are saying negative things
But hatas ain't walkin'
However, these people are not taking real action against me
Until this fucking fight
Unless a physical altercation occurs
These hatas ain't walkin'
These individuals will not take action against me
Bitch slap that sucka!
Physically discipline those who disrespect me
Yeah they call me Lil' Wyte
My name is Lil' Wyte
I'm back out on tha grind
I'm working hard again
I'm drankin' everyday
I consume alcohol every day
I'm smokin' on some pine
I am smoking marijuana
I gotta do it big
I need to be successful
Until the day I day
Until I die
You cool with me in my face
You pretend to like me when we are together
But a hater in disguise (What?)
However, you are actually a detractor
You can get slapped down
You may face physical punishment
When I'm your town
If I am in your area
Poppin' off some rounds
Firing weapons
When I'm on that crown
When I am under the influence of drugs
We usually pull up slow
We arrive discreetly
With lights off and guns drawn
And prepared to engage in violence
Everything bout to go
A chaotic situation is imminent
You ain't no hood ? might go home
You may be in danger if you are not familiar with the area
Take it easy
Relax
They don't want shit
My enemies desire nothing from me
Except yo life
Except my life
They'll even take a small fry
They will even take anything insignificant that I possess
Some coke and your wife
Including drugs and my spouse
You should of thought about circumstances
You should have considered the potential consequences
Repercussions and consequences
Possible negative outcomes
But you didn't
But you did not
Now your swimmin' somewhere in the Mississippi
Now you are likely dead, and possibly in the Mississippi River
[Chorus]
Refrain from the beginning of the song
I ain't goin' no where
I am not leaving
I been chillin' in the same cut
I have been staying in the same place
Smokin' on the same blunt
Smoking the same marijuana
Feelin' on the same butt
Touching the same person
Still fuck with the six
Still associate with a particular group of people
Still roll wit some killas'
Still associate with violent individuals
Still hang wit a big cliche
Still spend time with a large group of people with similar interests and behavior
And kick it wit drug dealers
And spend time with illegal drug suppliers
So, whatcha' wanna do?
What action are you planning to take against me?
I can have your whole crew
I can defeat your entire group
Hog tied, buried alive
Restrained and buried underground while alive
Underneath the swimmin' pool
Beneath a body of water
But, no I'm not a evil dude
However, I am not a malicious individual
In fact I'm pretty fuckin' humble
Actually, I am quite modest
Four hundred thousand records
I have sold 400,000 music albums
In the pit, ya hear my stomach bubble
My hunger for success is still present
I'm just gettin' started pimpin'
I am only beginning my career
You ain't seen retarded pimpin'
You have not yet witnessed my great success
Fuck it, I'll be modest to me
But I am still minimizing my accomplishments
I'm the fucking hardest pimpin'
I am the most successful in my profession
I can't spit it harmless
My speech is not always innocent
And horrific and the same time
And can also be disturbing
Kill ya, bring ya to life
I can cause someone's death or save their life
And get ya high with the same rhyme
And also make one feel euphoric with my words
[Chorus]
Refrain from the beginning of the song
OK you, ask me how I do it
You ask me how I achieve such success
I call it white boy magic
I attribute my success to my white race
I'm not the only one rich
However, I am not the only one financially prosperous
I just flash it with a passion
I show off my wealth with enthusiasm
Shoulda been missin' in action
I should not be here, alive
But now I'm back
But I am back
White rappers better duck and hide
White rappers should be fearful of me
And for all the hatas I have arrived
I have arrived to prove my detractors wrong
So guard your grill
Be cautious
And avert your eyes
And look away
Smoke on, keep cheifin'
Smoke marijuana, continue enjoying life
Ain't tryin' to ruin your weekend
I do not wish to spoil your happiness
But I'll fuck your mother though
However, I will sleep with your mother
And show you the real me
And reveal my true self to you
Then I'm theifin'
Then I will steal from you
I be grindin'
I work hard
While you whinin'
While you complain
I be shinin' like a diamond
I shine brightly, like a diamond
You thought that this dirt would still get work
You believed that my music career would fail
Even if I was a realtor buildin' dollars
Even if I sold properties and made money
But, keep your head up
Remain optimistic
I was not tryin' to destroy your dreams
I cannot intentionally diminish your aspirations
Like Katt Williams said "It's all good pimpin', you can hate on me"
As comedian Katt Williams said, you can still dislike me despite my success
The more you talk
The more you speak negatively about me
The more it let me know
The more I become aware
How walkers do it faster
That my enemies avoid confrontation
Keep your mouth open
Stay loud and vocal
Runnin' at all times
In constant motion
Motha fucka
An insulting term directed towards someone
