I heard this when it released. I was watching TV in jail in Newark Ohio. I started crying and had to get up and go to my cell. It reminded me of my dad, a huge Willie fan, and I was so sad I disappointed him. Music can be so inspiring and powerful.

What I love about this.... is Shania's complete control and the fact she doesnt feel the need to add abunch of extra runs like newer singers do.... just sing the melody and enjoy the melody the way the original composer made it....... shania is and always will be my favourite singer, not just cuz she's ojibway like me but also because her voice is one of a kind and she is one of the most gracious and humble celebrities out there....

My 8 year old son is on the ASD spectrum and he was having a meltdown there and he wanted to stand in the rain as he said it looks like tears. I was very lost for a long time when I hadn’t got the kids around me and I was in such a low that I had awful things going through my head. With a gem of a song like this, done by everybody, it's hard to say "that's the best version"...but this one I think is the one. Might be her best performance. Perfection if it is to be had. Wow. Still makes me cry and I saw them do it on the original broadcast.

Beautiful rendition of one of my favorite songs of all time. I love how she holds the note on the word "rain" in the second line of the song. Just perfect. Willie Nelson's version is great as well, but different. As a duet, they work well. They should sing more songs like this together.

I first heard this track in my dads car, then we sang it when I was in kindergarten back in 1990. America has its faults, and a lot of folks make us look bad, but damnit, I am still proud to be an American. It’s not the land, the government, it’s not even the people…I guess there are some things that words just can’t convey. That is what I fought for. I’m an army veteran I served in Iraq ‘05-‘06, and I don’t regret a day of it, and would do it again if ever the need arose. God bless America!

She lived to be 94 and she played your songs growing up including Blue Eyes Crying In the Rain...I only realize now this is a song that I will hear when I see my grandma again in the next life when we meet again. I didn't get to say goodbye to her the way I wanted to being very sick at the time, not being able to kiss her forehead in farewell.

She taught me so many good things about life and also my favourite 2 activities Golf and 10 pin Bowling. I listen to many of your songs and really love you playing with your sons as well. You all are a treasure to us through your music and humanity so keep playing for us, you make us all feel love and solace in life.
