1) The Noir Pop/Rock group Lillith actually started as a book project between Camilla Hell and the guitarist Per-Christian Frantzen. They met at a Music/Theater High School, and started collaborating when moving to Oslo. But early on they became increasingly drawn to music and after a few rehearsals Lillith was formed. At this time the music were more like a twisted mix of pop and punk. In 2008 they recruited the bassist and cellist Gregorius Grim Knockelkatt, when meeting him randomly in studio for a demo recording. Lillith is a Norwegian indie band. Their debut album was released in 2010, and the band can finally announce the eagerly-awaited second album to be released this year, 2020. This upcoming album has a far more lighter and melodic atmosphere and shows how the band keep developing their signature sound. The new song material has almost a cinematic feeling to it, inspired by the noir pop genre. This has been noted in an English review of the bands single "Beautiful Dreamers", pointing out the interesting noir pop movement happening in Scandinavia at this moment (Nordic Music Review). Their musical influences are wide spread, from trip hop, punk cabaret to alternative folk, but they all prefer the dark side of the music scene, exemplified by bands like The Doors and Velvet underground. Lillith promises a new album in 2020, with a couple of single releases ahead!!!

Losing a World
Lillith Lyrics

In our hearts and hope is gone
We sing this song to soothe our souls
And to survive the cold eternity
[ref.] and in our hearts there's the void
Of darkness and we will never forget the pain
Where the ray of enlightment shines on our heads
The lights are fading away, silence so beautiful
Nothingness around us, darkness so sad
You'll never see, never will it be
In a broken world of both of us

The lyrics of Lillith's "Losing a World" express a feeling of hopelessness and despair. The first verse tells us that something has died, and with it, hope has also vanished. The song is sung to soothe their soul and to survive the cold eternity. The repetitive use of "anymore" emphasizes the finality and sense of loss. The chorus describes the void in their hearts - a darkness that they will never forget, and nothing can fill the emptiness they feel. They may find enlightenment, but it does nothing to ease the pain they feel.
The second verse continues with the theme of fading lights and a sorrowful world. The silence is beautiful but only a tragic reminder of the emptiness. It stresses that they will never see what they once had, since it is absent in a broken world that they share. The chorus once again repeats, cementing the sentiments of despair and loss.
Overall, the song is a poignant commentary on heartbreak and grieving. Despite the sorrow, it also shows an immense capacity to endure and find enlightenment despite the pain.
