Playing shows on Warped Tour with comrades such as The Sounds, Yellowcard and My Chemical Romance, Lillix have earned a diverse and loyal fan base. Lillix have opened for high profile acts from Metric & Alanis Morisette to Aerosmith & KISS. Between live appearances on the Tom Green show, TRL and Much On Demand, Lillix extensively toured North America and Japan (where their album achieved Gold status). They have Juno nominations for “Best New Group” and “Best Pop Album” and won “Best New Group” at the Canadian Radio Music Awards.
In 2006 sisters Tasha-Ray and Lacey-Lee teamed up with drummer Alicia Warrington (Kelly Osbourne, Miley Cyrus) and released their sophomore album “Inside the Hollow”. The album was produced by Jeff Saltzman (The Killers) and James Michael (Motley Crue, Scorpions, Sixx A.M.). The single “Sweet Temptation” was voted one of the “Top 100 Songs of 2006” in Blender magazine.
After Touring “Inside the Hollow” and with the sudden and unexpected demise of Maverick Records. Alicia and founding member Louise Burns decided to depart the band. The Evin sisters have taken time to regroup and made a key decision to take on hard-hitting rock drummer Eric Hoodicoff (whom they have indefinitely borrowed from his renowned metal project Savage Blade). Lillix’s new line up is delving into sexy melodic dance grooves while incorporating a new sophisticated approach to their pop sensibility.
Currently recording their third and boldest album to date (title yet to be unveiled). Prepare for Lillix to hit radio stations and dance floors summer 2010.

Another way
To spend my day
All by myself
Staring at the TV screen
Flipping through my magazine
Everything is unclear
I need you here do
And I wake up
Put on my makeup
Pick up the phone
Nobody's home
I need to break out
Get me some takeout
Stand inside a crowd
I wanna scream aloud
I'll be OK
I'll be OK
Walking down this winding road
Rainy days are all I know
I have hit the ground
Staring up into the sky
Counting all the reasons why
My mind is spinning around
I need to breath do
So, I wake up
Put on my makeup
Pick up the phone
Nobody's home
And I need to break out
Give me some takeout
Stand inside a crowd
I wanna scream aloud
I'll be OK
Get off from the floor
I just can't take no more
Leavin' it all behind
'Cause yesterday's gone
Nah nah nah nah
Nah nah nah nah
Nah nah nah oh
Oh, I wake up
Put on my makeup
Pick up the phone
Nobody's home
And I need to break out
Give me some takeout
Stand inside a crowd
I wanna scream aloud
I'll be OK
I'll be OK
Oh, I wake up
Put on my makeup
Pick up the phone
Nobody's home
And I need to break out
Give me some takeout
Stand inside a crowd
I wanna scream aloud
I need to break out!
We're OK we're alright
Alright, you're okay, it's okay,
You're all right, whoa,
We'll be alright,
We'll be alright
Tomorrow's just another day
Another way
To spend my day
The song Tomorrow by Lillix presents a sense of loneliness and monotony that is often experienced by people in their daily lives. The lyrics revolve around the singer’s mundane routine, starting with waking up, putting on makeup, and flipping through a magazine while staring at the TV screen. The singer is constantly searching for company and longing for someone to be present in her life. The first verse ends with her expressing her need to have someone there with her. The chorus repeats throughout the song, as the singer struggles to find meaning in her life.
The second verse further expands on the singer's feeling of loneliness and frustration, describing her as walking down a winding road on rainy days. She feels as though she has hit rock bottom and starts to count all the reasons why her mind is spinning around. She feels suffocated and needs to break out and scream from inside a crowd. However, she reassures herself that she will be okay and picks herself up to continue to live her life. The bridge of the song features the singer's determination to move on from yesterday's troubles and leave it all behind.
Overall, the lyrics of Tomorrow are a great representation of the dull and monotonous life many people experience. The song reflects the need for human connection and the struggle to find happiness and meaning in oneself. However, it also provides a message of hope, acknowledging that even though times may be tough, things can get better.

Words can't express how obsessed I was with this album when it came out. Tasha-Ray was my obsession, I loved her voice. Years later, glad it stands up to my memories. And God, how gorgeous is she?

Used to hear this a lot on the radio even like 10 years ago…. I thought it was so good, but there’s so little views. Anyways, this sound and voice is literally how I feel the vibe of my childhood years were. Whatever this genre is, is what I feel like the years 2000-2006 were 😂

I remember when I got this album. I played it so many times that it literally formed scratches from being played so often.
