Often times compared to Feist, her music is entirely self-written, with a mellow sound and mild electronic additions. With lyrics in Spanish, French, and English, her eclectic sound is as diverse as her family is.
Her latest release entitled Cine-Magique is as magical as the title. While Lily was pregnant with her first son, Meesha Moon, her husband produced this CD in Toronto. The song "Enchantment" was recently used in an episode of the hit ABC drama Grey's Anatomy.
Who Am I
Lily Frost Lyrics

In the metro,
It's a melancholy day
No-one speaks
Passing you by
Wondering why
Today, like any day
Talked on the telephone
Went to the doctor, she said
You're ok
Still I wonder
Who am I x 4
Today in the air
On the water
Ships pass you by
Clouds fantasize
Dragging shapes across the sky
Wondering why
Who am I x 4
Clarion crows for the courtsmans brigade
Centuries before on this very stage
Gypsies serenade, passed through DNA
And so it found its way
(Bridge)
Who am I x 4
Today on the street
In the metro,
It's a melancholy day
The lyrics to Lily Frost’s song “Who Am I” are reflective of the profound question that many of us encounter at different points in our lives: “who am I?” The song opens with a scene depicting a melancholy day, in which no one speaks and everyone is passing by each other without any real connection or interaction. The singer reflects on their own day, which follows a mundane routine like any other day - rolling out of bed, talking on the telephone, and visiting the doctor who confirms that they are okay. Despite this, the singer still feels disconnected and wonders about their identity and purpose in the world.
As the song progresses, the singer contemplates their identity while experiencing the vastness of nature - in the air and on the water. The ships pass by without any recognition, and the clouds seem to be creating abstract shapes in the sky, leading the singer to further question who they are and their place in the world. The bridge, which is set against images of clarion crows and gypsy serenades that have been passed down through time via DNA, reveals that perhaps our identity is made up of elements from those who have come before us.

OMG!!!!! Reading the comments and knowing I'm not alone.....that's fantastic. I'm definitely one of the BIGGEST Stargate fans and now watching all ten seasons again since it's finale in 2007 and just finished FRAGILE BALANCE yesterday.
Much love to you all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Especially those die-hard Stargate fans (All Stargates)
And it's so hard watching some episodes because thinking back to the finale "UNENDING" feels like it was just a "FEW" years ago..............not 10.
Truly my all time absolute favorite tv show EVER. There is a connection between Stargate fans.......a profound unspoken one.

This song completely matched the scene in Fragile Balance Stargate, I have never seen a better match, it was magic, it impressed us.

Longtime Stargate fan. Col. O'Neil ROCKS! At the end of THIS episode the 14-year-old clone of O'Neil walks onto his new high school campus to start classes and THIS music starts. I was overwhelmed with emotion watching, listening to this. Why? I think it's about being young again, but with our full wisdom. And knowing we must make a new life, as a clone, different. The "Who Am I" refrain is so appropriate. What new path should we take? Wonderful.

It's been nearly 15 years since I first heard this song, and I still come here a lot to listen to it. But what I find even cooler is that after all these years, it is still we Gaters who always come here. Everyone in the comment section is talking about Stargate. Though, it's kind of sad in a way, if you think about it that if it weren't for SG-1, we wouldn't have known about this amazing artist. Which, if you haven't done so already, look her up! She is still very much active! Her style and writing have certainly matured, but her voice has remained as sweet. I just really hope she receives more recognition and listeners.
There are very few artists these days with anything real to offer, and even less with such a raw and eclectic voice as hers; and at the same time having that nostalgic "Nouveau Oldies" feeling. But understandably, in the age of internet and independent artists, it has gotten harder and harder to filter through the noise and multitude of great singers out there who are all looking to catch a break, but the best thing about Ms. Frost is that she isn't even trying—just simply being herself, uncompromising and sincere. Her rendition of the traditional spiritual "Motherless Child," for one, was as haunting as it was faithful to its sentiments, and is sure to bring you to tears. Anyone who can sing like that and calls herself a pop artist is truly something unique! I do hope she gets her break one day yet!
