Discovered Linda nearly a decade ago now and still haven't found anything that quite matches her style. Dewdrops on cobwebs.

You have most likely heard Joni Mitchell's first album, Sibylle Baier's Color Green, Karen Dalton, Judee Sill, or newer artists like Jessica Pratt and Julie Byrne, etc. but I think those are pretty similar. It may depend on what you look for in her "style" though.

Davey Curtis

She reminds of Kate Bush, she is from another planet.

PJ Sufjan Stevens to add to that list

Check out Molly Drake as well :)

Her "Parallelograms" is truly a gem.  For a young woman to have come up with that many great original songs, basically as an amateur musician, is incredible.

Three Six Nine

It was a brilliant performance but hat's off also to her producer Leonard and side musicians for the full package.

I just discovered Linda Perhacs today, thanks to an interview with Mikael Akerfeldt from Opeth. What an amazing voice and songwriter. I'm blown away by Parallelograms. So ahead of its time. Thank you for producing this feature about her.

Finding Lindas music is truly a gift. The way she builds her music around her uniquely soft way of viewing life is wonderful. I feel like i have searched for something like this for a long time. The first time i heard parallelohrams i just sat there in awe and cried. Even without seeing her drawings you get a strong visual sense from the music. Shes an absolute genius.

Her voice is so tactile and comforting
