Jigga What/Faint
Linkin Park feat Jay Z Lyrics

Uh, uh, Jigga What?
Uh, uh, Jigga Who?
Uh, uh, Jigga What?
Uh, uh, Jigga Who?
Uh, uh, Jigga What?

You gonna need a vocal here right?
Motherf***ers want to act loco, hit 'em wit', numerous
Shots with the fo'-fo'
Faggots runnin' to the Po-Po's, smoke 'em like cocoa

F*** rap, coke by the boatload
F*** dat, on the run-by, gun high, one eye closed
Left holes through some guy clothes
Stop your bulls***tin', glock with the full clip

Motherf***ers better duck when the fool spit
One shot could make a n**** do a full flip
See the n**** layin' shocked when the bullet hit
And hey ma, how you, know n****'z want to buy you

But see me I want to f*** for free, like Akinyele
Take this ride 'til you feel it inside ya belly
If it's tight get the K-why Jelly
All night get you wide up inside the telly

Side to side, 'til you say Jay-Z you're too much for me

I am
A little bit of loneliness a little bit of disregard
Handful of complaints but I can't help the fact
That everybody can see these scars

I am
What I want you to want what I want you to feel
But it's like no matter what I do I can't convince you
To just believe this is real

So I
Let go watching you turn your back like you always do
Face away and pretend that I'm not
But I'll be here cause your all that I've got

Got a condo with nuttin' but condoms in it
The same place where the rhymes is invented
So all I do is rap and sex, imagine how I stroke
See how I was flowin' on my last ca**ette?

Rapid-fire like I'm blastin a tec, never jam though
Never get high, never run out of ammo
N****'z hatin' 'n' s*** cause I slayed your b****
You know your favorite, I know it made you sick

And now you're, actin' raw but you never had war
Don't know how to carry your hoe, want to marry your hoe
Now she's mad at me, cause your majesty, just happened to be
A pimp with a tragedy

She wanted, us to end, cause I f***ed her friend
She gave me one more chance and I f***ed her again
I seen her tears as she busted in, I said
"S*** there's a draft, shut the door b**** and come on in!"

I am
A little bit insecure a little unconfident
'Cause you don't understand I do what I can
But sometimes I don't make sense

I am
What you never want to say but I've never had a doubt
It's like no matter what I do I can't convince you
For once just to hear me out

So I
Let go watching you turn your back like you always do
Face away and pretend that I'm not
But I'll be here 'cause you're all that I've got

I can't feel the way I did before
Don't turn your back on me
I won't be ignored
Time won't heal this damage anymore
Don't turn your back on me
I won't be ignored

Now
Hear me out now
You're gonna listen to me, like it or not
Right now
Hear me out now
You're gonna listen to me, like it or not
Right now

I can't feel the way I did before
Don't turn your back on me
I won't be ignored

I can't feel the way I did before
Don't turn your back on me
I won't be ignored
Time won't heal this damage anymore
Don't turn your back on me
I won't be ignored

I can't feel
Don't turn your back on me
I won't be ignored
Time won't heal

Don't turn your back on me
I won't be ignored

Overall Meaning

"Jigga What/Faint" is a collaborative rap/rock song by Linkin Park and Jay-Z. The lyrics of this song revolve around the notion that not everything in the world is straightforward and understandable, and that people see and interpret things differently. The song opens with a repetitive chorus of "Jigga What" and "Jigga Who," emphasizing the confusion and chaos in the world.

Moving forward with the lyrics, Jay-Z provides a detailed picture of his aggressive, gun-toting lifestyle, rapping about drug dealing, shooting, and objectifying women. In contrast, Chester Bennington, the lead vocalist of Linkin Park, sings about grappling with loneliness, self-doubt, and insecurity. Ultimately, both artists express their dissatisfaction with the world and the people in it, but in vastly different ways.

I don't think people realize how revolutionary this was. This wasn't a one off collab or mashup. They managed to produce a whole album and recreated all these songs perfectly flowing the hit songs from both jay-z and Linkin park

@lakeshoresubtleties

Right. I was actually maybe a little young and naive to hip-hop to fully appreciate it, being in my late teens in very white america.

@midnightcoil

Run DMC started it with Aerosmith that was $7,000 times more revolutionary

@bossman9579

@@midnightcoil Dang, thought they just did a song or two. Didn't realize they did a whole concert as well. Good to know.

@nick-ce1yb

Agreed this is a top 5 performance. Blending genres that "shouldn't go together" but we all lonely and want a voice no matter the music

@ukno918

they were fans of each other, so probably had a lot of ideas even before the collab

Mike Shinoda is such a multi-artist, it's unreal.

@MondySpartan
