But when I was bad, my mum knew what I was doing
While I'd try my best not to leave any clues
She would always find out
And she'd say that she used
Intuition
Intuition
I'd play out after dark
And they would come and get me
I tried to cut the baby's hair
And they would not let me
When I stole all the apples that our neighbour grew
Someone must have told 'cause she knew
Intuition
Blamed it all on
Intuition
So many things I miss
The situations should just not exist
I don't mean to persist
But I know what must take all the blame for this
Intuition
Intuition
Though I always try hard not to leave any clues
I am always found out, wish I knew how to use

Intuition
The lyrics of Linx's song "Intuition" speak about a person who despite trying their best to keep their mischievous behavior away from their family, always ends up being caught due to their mother's intuition. From a young age, this person was expected to be the downfall of the family, but despite their best efforts to not leave any evidence behind, their mother always knew what they were up to. The singer recalls instances where they were caught playing outside after dark and attempting to cut the baby's hair, and when they stole neighborhood apples. The singer credits their mother's intuition for always knowing the truth and being able to recognize their misbehavior.
The song highlights the power of intuition, and how sometimes we may not be able to explain how we know something, but we just do. The singer seems to be in awe of their mother's intuition and perhaps wishes they could possess such a powerful intuition themselves. The song also touches upon the feeling of helplessness when we know we are in the wrong and must take the blame for our actions.
Overall, "Intuition" is a reflective and contemplative song that highlights the importance of paying attention to our intuition and how it can impact our lives.
