1) Lio is a Belgian singer and actress, born as Wanda Ribeiro de Vasconcelos in 1962 in Mangualde, Portugal. In 1968, she and her family moved to Belgium. She was an pop icon in francophone Europe during the 1980's. In 1982 the American music duo Sparks worked with her on the album Suite Sixteen, on which some of her previous songs were translated into English. She has an extensive discography and has collaborated with several important French music artists, including Etienne Daho and Jacno. Many of Lio's singles were successful, but her biggest hit was probably 1980's Banana Split. This track was redone on the Suite Sixteen album as Marie Antoinette. She first appeared on the screen in 1983 in Chantal Akerman's film The Eighties. Ackerman recast her in the 1986 film Golden Eighties, a lighthearted, humorous French pop musical about the people who work together in a Parisian shopping center. Lio plays a carefree hairdresser in the movie. Although arguably at the height of her music career, she does not sing in this film.

The lyrics of Lio's song "Amicalement votre" convey a strong message about fidelity and the sanctity of relationships. The singer warns her defamer to refrain from touching her anatomy, as she reserves her charms for her lover. She also emphasizes that she's faithful, and she doesn't laugh at or approve of infidelity. The next part of the song describes a fight between the singer's lover and a jealous individual. The latter resorts to foul play by hitting below the belt, which the singer's partner retaliates by defeating the attacker and sending them back to their grandmother's house. In the chorus, Lio reaffirms her friendly intentions, calling the individual she's addressing an "ami" (friend) repeatedly.
The overall message of the song is not losing sight of what's valuable, such as true love and strong bonds between people. The singer directs her warnings and advice to someone who might be trying to take away what she cherishes. The use of repetition highlights the importance of these values while also lending a catchy rhythm to the song. The composition incorporates elements of synthpop, a genre popular in the 80s, and Lio's soft voice creates a unique contrast with the edgy lyrics.
