Their only notable international hit, "Narcotic", was first released on a demo in 1996 and sold over 700.000 units when Virgin Records re-released it in 1998. Since then, Liquido hasn't been able to repeat this success, which led to a split from Virgin after two unsuccessful albums in 2004 and finally to the breakup of the band in 2009.
Tim Eiermann is known to be founding member of Death/Doom Metal act Pyogenesis, which released its first EP Ignis Creatio in 1992 through Osmose Productions. Wolle Maier also played in Pyogenesis.

What seers have said
But fate was queer
And times we had
Our big mistake was incomplete
So pure and sweet
We had to break
L could not say l want you
L do recall what she has said now
What she has said to me now: l said l said l now
It's clicklesley calling
It's clicklesley calling
The sweetest sound in town
The sweetest sound
I don't know
What time will come
L might be late
Though l will run
It is far and still a maze
The wish we chase
Our little world
Too small to breathe
Was like a stone
With us beneath
But don't regret. the time we had
The time we have, we have now: l said l said l now
It's clicklesley calling
It's-clicklesley calling. it's the sweetest sound in town
The-sweetcst sound, it's not for the cause
It's not for the fiction
It's not for the cause
It's not for the fiction
L can't say what's to say now, no L can't say now
The song Clicklesley by Liquido is an introspective and nostalgic reflection on a past relationship. The singer acknowledges that fate played a strange role in their relationship, and reminisces on the times they had together, which they call "pure and sweet." However, the relationship was not to last, and they had to break their ties in two. The singer feels regretful for the way things ended, but acknowledges that their little world was too small to breathe and had become like a stone that they were both trapped beneath. Despite this, they still cherish the time they spent together and look back fondly on the memories they made.
The song's chorus consists of the repeated phrase "It's clicklesley calling," which is a play on the phrase "It's destiny calling." The singer hears this call as the sweetest sound in town, but doesn't know what it means or what the future holds. They acknowledge that time may be running out for them to reunite with their former love, but they will still try to make it happen.
Overall, Clicklesley is a reflection on the bittersweet nature of love and relationships. The singer acknowledges the pain of losing someone they cared for deeply, but also cherishes the memories they made and holds out hope for a future reunion.
