Presley attended a variety of schools, mostly boarding schools, a few in Los Angeles County (among them the John Thomas Dye School), and also in Ojai, Ventura County, California, She was briefly a student at a Church of Scientology school in Los Angeles.
A close friend of her father's ex-girlfriend Linda Thompson, in 2003, after advice from Thompson's record producer and then-husband David Foster, Presley launched a career as a singer. Her debut album, To Whom It May Concern, reached #5 on the US Billboard 200 albums chart and was certified gold. To promote it she presented a concert in the UK, something that her father never did but wanted. Presley released her second album, Now What, in 2005 and it reached #9 on the US Billboard 200. It was certified gold in November 2005. Unlike her first album, Now What included a Parental Advisory sticker.
Her third album, Storm & Grace, was released on May 15, 2012.
Turbulence
Lisa Marie Presley Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
I can't be comforted at all
In pieces
I went from crawling into a ball
Evidence
It's in my breathing every day
Less and less and less
There was nothing left for anybody else
And you, you're the last little shit
That anyone expected
Could put me through this
Yeah, it's true
Turbulence
Auto pilot to control
Down and down and down
And if he's there, then I'll take my order to go
He shouldn't see, he shouldn't know
Hey you, you wore me out
There was nothing left for anybody else
And you, you're the last little shit
That anyone expected
Could put me through this
You little fucker, it's true
And over there in the corner of the room
Sat little Jack Horner in his gloom
Oh, how you like it there
Na na na na na
Hey you, you slither around
While you rip every vein out
And you, you're once so charming, self-inflicted, tortured act
It's a loser and a poser's tool
Hey you, you wore me out
There was nothing left for anybody else
And you, you're the last little shit
That anyone expected
Could put me through this
You little fucker, it's true
Imagine that
Imagine that
The song "Turbulence" by Lisa Marie Presley delves into the intense pain and turmoil experienced after a toxic relationship. The lyrics suggest that the singer is unable to find any solace or comfort as she is shattered into pieces. The evidence of her trauma is found in her breathing, which grows increasingly shallow and difficult. The metaphor of being on auto-pilot further emphasizes the loss of control and the feeling of being trapped in a downward spiral.
The chorus is a powerful expression of anger and frustration towards the person who caused this pain. The repetition of "You wore me out" highlights the emotional exhaustion felt by the singer, as well as the feeling of being used up and discarded. The use of profanity adds to the intensity of the emotions conveyed in the lyrics. The reference to "Little Jack Horner" sitting in a gloom suggests a sense of helplessness and despair, as if the singer feels stuck in a situation that she cannot escape.
Overall, "Turbulence" is a raw and emotional song that captures the devastating impact of toxic relationships. The lyrics paint a vivid picture of the singer's pain and desperation, as well as her anger towards the person who caused it. This powerful message is conveyed through the use of intricate metaphors and emotionally charged language.

" Turbulence" is a great title for the theme song of Lisa Marie's life. She uses the analogy well to make us realize how similar a rough plane ride is to the roller coaster of the ups and downs of life. She has a sensual experience to share when recording her rivoting chords.Lisa Marie is one of a kind, has her own diva energy, and writes very creative songs.LMP forever.
