1. The British hard-rock outfit Little Angels formed in Scarborough, England in 1987 while its members -- vocalist/guitarist Toby Jepson, keyboardist Jimmy Dickinson, his guitarist brother Bruce John Dickinson, bassist Mark Plunkett and drummer Dave Hopper -- were all attending university.
At the outset, the group was forced to hone their craft primarily in area schools, as Jimmy Dickinson was too young to play clubs. Originally dubbed Mr. Thrud, Little Angels issued their debut mini-LP Too Posh to Mosh (recorded with new drummer Michael Lee in 1987.
After winning a loyal following on the strength of their live performances, including an opening set for a then-unknown Guns 'N' Roses, they were signed to Polydor, releasing the full-length Don't Prey for Me in 1989. Produced by Steve Thompson and Michael Barbiero, 1991's Young Gods attempted to break Little Angels in America, a move which proved unsuccessful. Mark Richardson joined the band on drums in time for their third album, Jam, Still, the group's fanbase at home continued to grow, and 1993's Jam even debuted at the top of the British charts. To the surprise of many, Little Angels then disbanded, with the 1994 release of the retrospective Little of the Past marking their passing. The Dickinsons later resurfaced in b.l.o.w.
Lead vocalist Toby Jepson now sings for Scottish rockers - GUN! Jepson also has released 2 EP's with a view to doing a 3rd this coming summer.
2. Pittsburgh punk band on Kill Enemy Records featuring members of Speed Plans, Barlow, Joose, and Ex-Pilots.

Isn't black or white
But it's coloured you judgement,
Of what's wrong or right,
You took hold of her hand like she was diseased
Now you're turning away,
There's nothing more you have to say.
Do you know what she means to me,
Know how I care?
If you looked in her heart you'd see no colour there
Well I don't care, Care what you like if you see there's a
Colour of love
Beneath her black skin, she runs red with blood
And I'd give her my soul, if only I could
'Cause loves an emotion that trancends all colour and creed
I'm leaving you now,
'cause you're blinded by what you can't see
First you ask for respect, then you bathe in fear
I say nothing is due, nd my concience is clear,
And that's sincere,
Would you call my name would you say you'd be there?
Would you turn around just when I needed you (needed you)
In your suburbs you burn you're content with your fate,
Stuck behind your green hedges and white washed black hate,
I'm so sick and so tired of this loveless refrain,
Well that's your shame, shame on you
If you see there's a colour of love

"The Colour of Love" by Little Angels is a song about challenging societal constructs and prejudices towards those of different races or ethnicities. The song argues that love transcends all barriers and that it is wrong to judge someone based on the colour of their skin. The lyrics begin by stating that the colour of love is not black or white but coloured by people's judgements of what is right or wrong. The singer then calls out someone who is prejudiced against his girlfriend, saying that they treated her like she was diseased because of the colour of her skin. The singer argues that love has no colour and that his girlfriend is no different from him, running red with the same blood.
The song goes on to explore the issue of societal expectations, with the singer arguing that he does not owe anyone respect just because of their skin colour. He also questions whether the person he is addressing would be there for him in a time of need, or whether their prejudices would continue to cloud their judgement. The song ends with the singer rejecting the loveless refrain of society and choosing to leave because his conscience is clear.
Overall, "The Colour of Love" is a powerful protest song against racism and prejudice. It calls on listeners to examine their own biases and to see that love is a unifying force that transcends all differences.
