What That Is
Little Richard Lyrics

The best things in life are free
But you can keep them for the birds and bees
Now give me money
That's what I want
That's what I want, yeah
That's what I want

You're lovin' gives me a thrill
But you're lovin' don't pay my bills
Now give me money
That's what I want
That's what I want, yeah
That's what I want

Money don't get everything it's true
What it don't get, I can't use
Now give me money
That's what I want
That's what I want, yeah
That's what I want, wah

Money don't get everything it's true
What it don't get, I can't use
Now give me money
That's what I want
That's what I want, yeah
That's what I want

Well now give me money
A lot of money
Wow, yeah, I wanna be free
Oh I want money
That's what I want
That's what I want, well
Now give me money
A lot of money
Wow, yeah, you need money
Now, give me money
That's what I want, yeah
That's what I want

Does Little Richard deserve the title of "King of Rock N' Roll?"

Al Everdred

Yes! Richard invented it!

Farmer With a shotgun

@Walkin' Tall Elvis was a white boy singing like a black man. He is no king

Gabriel Soberon Nelson

Yes.

Sethflix

Absolutely! He toured with and influenced the Beatles in a major way too!

@MARCI'A THE HOOLIGAN You are 100% correct and in one of his interviews Little Richard said he had to look less threatening to white men because they saw white girls being in aw of his talent.

Let's be honest and give credit where credit is due, Richard have a lot of influence on Elvis and The Beatles. Without him Rock 'n' Roll would have looked different if ever existed.

And now follow that line as to how to Little Richard came to be back way way back and then you arrive at a moral dilemma do you stop the music or leave it to unfold as it did from the blues?

@Nicole Simon Little Richards a giant. No pun intended, lol. I was amazed at the names he played with Hendrix, etc.

Wes Paul

@Nicole Simon it happens quite often. Recently I watched Rude Boy The Clash, which I recommend, singing with them was a chap Jimmy Pursey of Sham 69. But they've been edited out of history for PC reasons which I don't understand. Not saying he's a good bloke or husband. But that's not the point. It just made me think, "what about them" I love em all. Same thing happened when John Lennon died. Which irked McCartney. I just think we should give em all due credit.
