I’m only 23. But every time I heard little Richard and woke up to little Richard or Blues music period. I always knew that if I woke up to this music that I would have to spend the day cleaning. But listening to Blues especially Little rIchard made cleaning go by faster and made it more fun.

My fav genre of music is Hiphop and rock music.

But my 3rd fav music is BLUES music. Especially 50’s-60’s Blues, like little Richard. little Richard has always been one of my top 3 fav Blues singers of all time.

And Hiphop originated from blues music.

The first time I heard this song was in the 4rth grade, the last 20 minutes of class the teacher would put up 4-5 songs Metallica, Jim Morrison, The Stones, The Beetles all sorts of tunes. The energy, the story and style had me singing, trying to, the song all the way home. When I got home my dad was like "Where'd you hear Little Richard?!" after that my pops and I would listen to old songs while doing homework. I've got ALL his songs as well as Richie Valens, Buddy Holly, The Big Bopper, The Crickets, Jerry Lee.. that time period was amazing for music. Have always had a soft spot for that era, a sizable portion of my close to 10k songs on my collection is just 50's rock.
