Ahh yes, I did a challenge run with my backbone as a dragon type. I had a Lucario, Charizard, Flygon, Greninja, Talonflame, and my own Gardevoir.

When I reached the Gardevoir, I had only Flygon and Lucario left.....I mega evolved him, had him metal claw her a few times...but after a hyper voice or moon blast he was down. Flygon had to clutch, but the move missed and I hit that Hyper Beam.....

Not the most competitive team, but I wasn't trying to be.

The sound on this is incredible, and the video is also really sweet. If I may make one piece of constructive criticism, I might suggest switching clips more slowly, it moves really fast and it makes it hard to watch any specific part and makes the video kinda chaotic looking. But other than this is freaking incredible. :D

Despite having heard this on release day, and reading the title of the song, I didn't even realize Diantha was the Champion until I stood before her after the Elite 4. I totally destroyed her team with my Aegislash (His name is Soul Calibur, and he's officially one of my favourite Pokemon).

Great cover! Megagardivoir gave me a real hard time. In the end, it came to a game of attrition with alternating King's Shield/Hyper Potion on my Aegislash, until it ran out of Shadow Balls. Then, I cut it down with several buffed Night Slashes. Not an easy task. Ah, but I digress! Once again, awesome cover!

Mega Gardevoir was the biggest pain in her party. The rest of her team took some work to get past. It was basically playing a type match up until Mega Gardevoir came into the picture. Lucario and Greninja had type advantage, but couldn't handle the raw power. Avalugg wasn't built for Special Defense, and Mega Venusaur had a type weakness.

It was down to my Ledian and Gardevoir. Yes, I kept a Ledian in my team up to the Elite Four. She survived long enough for a Light Screen, Safeguard, and a Silver Wind or two.

My Gardevoir came out last and was able to topple her Mega counterpart thanks to Shadow Ball and Ledian's screen.

Just to make it extra special, those two Pokémon were in my team throughout the entire adventure since I caught them.

Even though people give it shit, Pokemon X and Y are my favorite games of all time. Once I began the fight with Diantha, I just sat with my 3DS next to me for half an hour while just listening to the music. Out of every game I've played, I want Pokemon X and Y to be rebooted
