I’m a musician and composer from northern Norway, currently living in Oslo. In 2020 i finished my degree in jazz and improvised music from the Norwegian Academy of Music, and since then I’ve been an active musician on the Norwegian scene. My main focus has been on my own projects, presented on this site, but I have also been lucky to play with so many great musicians, among others Ane Brun and Solveig Slettahjell. I have also written a lot of music the past years, both for big bands, woodwind trio, string orchestra and symphony orchestra. Improvisation is an important aspect of my music, and in my trio we always play without set list to make room for initiativ, creativity and improvisation in the moment. In February this year I had the honour to perform new music at the opening of Bodø24 - European capital of culture, written for my trio, three vocalists and full symphony orchestra. This, and releasing the album "Ville blomster" with my trio the same month, have been two of the highlights so far this year.

In these lyrics, the phrase "You go, I go" sets up a sense of unity and companionship between two individuals. It suggests a mutual understanding and a shared journey where they are moving together, possibly facing challenges or experiences side by side.
The subsequent phrase "trying to follow" introduces an element of uncertainty or struggle. It implies that despite the initial unity and synchronization implied by "You go, I go," there may be difficulties in maintaining that connection. The act of 'trying' suggests that there may be obstacles or differences in perspective that make staying on the same path challenging.
This could reflect a sense of longing or aspiration to stay connected despite external forces that may try to pull them apart. It conveys a sense of effort and determination to maintain the bond or relationship, suggesting a willingness to overcome obstacles in order to continue moving forward together.
Overall, these lyrics convey a complex mix of togetherness and potential struggle within a relationship. The idea of following each other, while loaded with a sense of unity, also hints at the need for effort and perseverance to navigate the uncertainties and challenges that may arise along the way.
