LiveonRelease's genre of music follows the likes of Blink-182. The name, LiveonRelease, originated from basketball jargon. Basketball is Brittin's favorite sport.
In 2002 they released Seeing Red, which included the singles "I'm Afraid of Britney Spears", "Get With It", and "Emotional Griptape". "I'm Afraid of Britney Spears" also appeared on the Dude, Where's My Car? soundtrack. In 2003 they released their second album Goes on a Field Trip, which included the single "Let's Go".

Then you ever did of me
Your best friend is channel nine
Check your list no one's online
They've got lives but you're just fine
But that's not the way life goes
I just look into your eyes 'cause I want to see
I'm gonna go baby just come with me
Let's go, let's go, let's go to the beach
Let's go, let's go, let's go just you and me
Let's go, let's go, we'll be free
We'll be free
Tanning oil and palm trees
Lots of friends and beach parties
You won't miss home not even a bit
Run away to miles of sand
Just you and me and maybe my band
You'll have fun I'm sure of it
I'm just look into your eyes 'cause I want to see
I'm gonna go baby just come with me
Let's go, let's go, let's go to the beach
Let's go, let's go, let's go just you and me
Let's go, let's go, we'll be free
We'll be free
I don't understand how
Life can pass you by
Let's go, let's go, let's go to the beach
Let's go, let's go, let's go just you and me
Let's go, let's go, we'll be free
We'll be free
Let's go, let's go, let's go to the beach
Let's go, let's go, let's go just you and me
Let's go, let's go, we'll be free
We'll be free
Let's go, let's go, let's go to the beach
Let's go, let's go, let's go just you and me
Let's go, let's go, we'll be free
We'll be free
Let's go, let's go, let's go to the beach
Let's go, let's go, let's go just you and me
Let's go, let's go, we'll be free
We'll be free
The song Let's Go by LiveonRelease is about the singer's frustration with their partner, who spends more time watching TV than paying attention to their relationship. Their best friend, in the singer's opinion, is the television channel they watch most. The singer checks for messages online, but nobody is there. The lyrics express the sentiment that the partner seems content with the status quo, but the singer knows that isn't how life works. The singer wants to get away to the beach with their partner, where they can be free from the monotony of daily life. They promise that their partner won't miss home one bit once they're away and that they will have a great time. The chorus repeatedly tells the partner to come with them to the beach and promises freedom, fun, and escape from boredom.
The lyrics use the beach as a metaphor for a place of escape, where people can let go of their worries and enjoy themselves. The singer wants to take their partner away from their TV-dominated existence and show them how much more life can offer. They want the partner to fly, to experience freedom, and to have fun. However, it's not clear whether the partner will agree to go with them or remain stuck in their routine.
Overall, the song is a call for adventure, for taking risks and stepping outside of one's comfort zone. It encourages the listener to embrace life fully and to pursue their desires.
