Martha wash sung all the other black box numbers except for ride on time that was loleatta

Regista Me

Please tell me she got money for life this song is a classic and her voice is legendary.

Don't just take anything people; if your work or idea is robbed. Make sure the lifelong rights to it involve you and you get fully compensated for not only the disrespect but what it has earned.

RIP

Still love the Black Box version!! Loleata and Martha sang their asses off of those epic Black Box singles! Early 90s..man, those were some great years for dance/house music

Love sensation

Just as good as the remix/cover

They did keep the backing vocals and that's the quickest way to shame them in a law court. She settled with them but I would have demanded that my name be given as the vocalist and presented by Black Box or the extension as a Black Box Mix or that the song be recalled or renamed as Love Sensation (Black Box Remix). The person seen miming and those shown on live shows, none of them is the person I saw on television that I wondered who she is because of that voice. That voice that was suddenly there. A short, very dark girl, with large eyes, if I remember all the details correctly. When I saw this person, I was surprised and wondered why she was there, not as a still photo on a cover but as the singer, though I could tell she probably can't even sing.

I wish someone could show the television clip of Ride on Time.

One has to be very careful of being used like slaves. I have in my thoughts Boney M. The guy on stage is not the guy whose voice the public bought but the man that put the group together and called the shots. Since he had the voice he wanted, why was he not part of the group? The only reason is to present this reggae group whose skin colour the public would be expecting. But music has nothing to do with skin colour because no ones owns the talents that produce music. So the public would have been overwhelmed to see a member with a different skin colour and whose native language was different from the other members and from Jamaicans the inventors of reggae music. It is the talent for which the public is willing to pay. Did UB40 care anything about the colour of their skin? Did Frank Sinatra not sing Jazz? Did he have the same skin colour as Louis Armstrong or Ella Fitzgerald? I have found out for the first time who Black Box are aside from the faces that the public see and it seems to me that they are pulling the same stunt as the man behind Boney M. Why do people not walk away from such schemes? The females in Boney M knew about that man's scheme and that of the three females, only two were used for recording. Don't cry wolf when you are strong enough to scare off the wolf? Why do people choose fame first, especially when you see yourself as a "Christian" and should know "the Father knows what you need"? "None but us can free our minds", sang Bob Marley. So why do those females facilitate those people in the background? Why are they still facilitating slavery? because that is what it is. The European using the African who he sees as lacking intelligence. Were they all of the same race, I'd say they are all in on a money making scheme. But when you join with another race to defraud someone from your race, that is facilitating slavery all over again.

I don't jump on the slavery band wagon of African slavery, rather I thrash the descendants of slaves whose ancestors did not have the doors they have come to get open for them but are doing nothing to better themselves as a people and not just as the odd individual. When some are politically governed by their own slave descendants. But where there is injustice I am aware of, I have to speak out or do something if achieving justice is in my hands.
