LAM has gained a large and loyal following all over the world, from the USA to Europe to Latin America (where the live band has toured extensively), and beyond. LAM has headlined and co-headlined concerts and major festivals with bands like The Cure, Green Day, HIM (HIM has cited LAM a favorite artist), Rammstein, Soft Cell and many more. LAM has performed to crowds of over 30,000 people as headliner and co-headliner on major music festivals around the world. However, London After Midnight maintains a strong underground and independent "personality" despite being a top seller (charting in the top 10 and top 20 German DAC, and other European independent charts, with each of 4 CDs released) and a major draw at music festivals year after year.
Songwriter, instrumentalist, producer and founder Sean Brennan is known for his strong stances in favor of animal rights, pro-environmental and human rights issues, anti-corporate control of media, and support for progressive and liberal political and social causes. Whatever the approach or subject matter, the music of London After Midnight is deeply touching, powerful, socially aware, romantic, emotional, disturbing, haunting, moving, and often exhibits a morbid wit with its sardonic humor (listen to the tongue-in-cheek "Your Best Nightmare" and try not to think of an Edward Gorey story).
LAM is all this, while at the same time appealing to a wide variety of people. There really is no classification that fits London After Midnight (despite LAM's "dark" image) because the music is so varied and the lyrical content (and even LAM's personality and causes) are unique and uncommon in today's music scene (often breaking boundaries- much to the outrage of people who live and die by genre labels). Sean Brennan shuns all labels (as any artist worth their salt will do) and the music he creates can really only be classified as "London After Midnight".
From 2015-2019 LAM headlined major festivals around the world, including Wave Gotik Treffen multiple times, and many other events. In 2019 Sean Brennan started his own record label, Darkride Records, and released "Selected Scenes from the End of the World: 9119", the original 1991 album remixed from the original master tapes (it is NOT A REMASTER- it's completely remixed from the multi-track master tapes). This new mix restored missing audio tracks and includes a never before released song from the 1991 sessions. Darkride Records released the "Oddities Too", similar in theme to the 1998 album "Oddities" with unreleased music, new music and much more. The all new un-named LAM album and a complete remix of "Psycho Magnet", remixed from the original master tapes, is also underway.

London After Midnight Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
The ground is oh so cold
Sing about God,
Sing on his death
Sing about love
And sing about sex
Your great mystery's a lie
Hypocrisy's the rule
The Death of God
Of darkness and light,
Of heaven and hell,
Of sinful delights.
Beneath our feet lie shattered wings,
Our screams bring the awakening of God
So say goodbye to torture and lies,
And if there's a God pray he opens his eyes
His angels aren't the master race,
We'll tell him when we're face to face with God
London After Midnight's song "Untitled" is a powerful commentary on the hypocrisy of religion and the human condition. The lyrics invite the listener to contemplate the true nature of God, light, and darkness. The verse "Twilight the leaves fall, The ground is oh so cold" sets the tone with imagery of nature and the fleeting nature of life. The next lines, "Sing about God, Sing on his death, Sing about love, And sing about sex" seem to implore the listener to sing about all aspects of life, both the light and the dark. The line "Your great mystery's a lie" suggests that the idea of a God is a mystery, a fabrication created by humans. The verse "Of darkness and light, Of heaven and hell, Of sinful delights" explores the idea that opposing forces coexist in life, and that "sinful delights" are an integral part of the human experience.
The final lines of the lyrics are particularly powerful. "So say goodbye to torture and lies, And if there's a God; pray he opens his eyes. His angels aren't the master race, We'll tell him when we're face to face with God." Here, the song suggests that religion has oppressed and tortured people for too long, and that it's time to abandon lies perpetuated in the name of faith. Additionally, the idea that "His angels aren't the master race" could be a direct reference to the notion that certain religions believe themselves to be the chosen ones, the ones that will be saved, while others will be condemned. The final line "We'll tell him when we're face to face with God" is a defiant statement that suggests that people need to speak truth to power and challenge the authority of God and religion when necessary.

Even if the movie was said to be a disappointment, it would still be worth it to see Lon Chaney's character in action.
Tekx
It was actually one of Lon’s lost performances,he died in August 1930

If there's a French poster, has anyone looked into the possibility of a French-speaking country having a copy?
Nicholas Perl
So far no leads have come up, but a French novelization of the film was discovered a few years ago and published in English by BearManor, I got it on Amazon so it's probably still there or elsewhere. Good read, as well as the other book they published on London After Midnight

This seems to be one of those cases to where even you wanted to watch this, it's either in the hands of those associated with the films production
Or a certain company that has the film in there archives but refuses to release it
But it's unlikely that the people working on, or at the very least those who have any association with this film are even alive today
And it's unknown that any other copy of this film even still exists

I suspect the reason that, IF there is a copy still around, it’s probably in poor condition and that knowing the films infamy, they wouldn’t want to release the movie in a bad state. Heck what happens if, during distribution, something seriously bad happens and the only copy gets ruined, ie getting caught on fire or tangled in the projector. It’s one of those risks some film preservers aren’t willing to take.

Another lost film I wish was found or still existed, is Cleopatra from 1917, with Theda Bara in the title role, among with lost films of Clara Bow and Colleen Moore

Hey, so I was looking at the Frosty the Snowman wiki and saw that the original voice actor for Karen was replaced with an uncredited voice actor. I was wondering if you would make a video about this? Maybe you could find the names of the current voice actors for the children.
This is the Rankin/Bass Frosty, btw. Thank you!
Waggie Entertainment
Oh I read about that! However idk if it’s interesting enough for a single video, he might put it in a top ten list though
