Call to attention
London Airspace Lyrics

To this point you're missing
This is what you want so come and get it, get it,
You gotta give it up, you gotta
You've made a call to my attention, a call to my attention
So I'll leave behind what I thought was mine, was...
All the time, all the time.
We are, we are saying
There's no point in staying
(will this keep replaying)
This is what you want so come and get it, get it,
You gotta give it up, you gotta
You've made a call to my attention, a call to my attention
So I'll leave behind what I thought was mine, was mine.
All the time, all the time.
You've made a call to my attention, a call to my attention
So I'll leave behind what I thought was mine, was mine.
In "Call to attention," London Airspace is calling on everyone to listen to what they have to say. They are referring to a point that people are missing out on and they are urging everyone to come and get it. The singer is emphatic that this is what people want and need and they must give it up in order to achieve it. The lyrics indicate that someone has made a call to their attention and they will leave behind what they thought was theirs, in order to pursue this new call. The repetition of "all the time" emphasizes that the singer has been caught up in what they thought was their path, but now they are being urged to think differently.
The second verse continues with the same theme: that there is no point in staying in the same old pattern. The singer is questioning the possibility of something repeatedly happening, indicating that unless they change their behavior, they will continue to make the same mistakes. However, there is a sense of empowerment in the lyrics, as they urge people to come and get what they want. The repetition of the call to attention further emphasizes the importance of making a change, and leaving behind old ways of thinking. Overall, the lyrics convey a message of personal growth, urging people to listen to new ideas and embrace change.

I love the part where the clearly new ATC is speaking so calmly and blissfully that the Pilot asks, “This is JFK, right?!”
