Everything To Me
London Airspace Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Watching as the days go by the seasons change
The memories we had
As I dare to look back

Maybe in a year or two you'll think of me
I'll think of you tonight
Just one last time
Could you, could you spend some time with me,
Spend some time with me
Because it's everything I need
It's everything to me

People come and people go,
Keep them close and let them know you care
That you'll always be there

And all those songs we used to sing
That remind us of teenage tragedy are gone
But we will stay strong
(we'll stay strong)

Could you, could you spend some time with me,
Spend some time with me
Because its everything I need
It's everything to me

Everything it's everything
(you're everything I need)
Everything you're everything

Could you, could you spend some time with me,
Spend some time with me
Because you're everything I need
You're everything

Could you, oh tell me oh could you
Spend some time, spend some time with me.

Overall Meaning

The song "Everything To Me" by London Airspace paints a picture of change and nostalgia. The lyrics reflect on the passing of time and how memories shift as we move forward. The opening lines describe the passing of the seasons, and how despite everything changing, there are memories that remain. The singer is looking back on these memories with a sense of sadness, as though they're not quite ready to let them go. They're hoping that in the future, they and the person they're singing to will remember each other fondly.

The chorus of the song revolves around the idea that spending time with someone means everything to the singer. They're asking the person they're singing to if they could spend just a little bit more time together, because it's all they need. The repeated use of "everything to me" emphasizes just how important this person is to the singer. The final verse offers some advice to the listener - keep the people you care about close and let them know that you'll always be there for them.

The lyrics of "Everything To Me" are poignant and relatable. They capture the feeling of nostalgia and longing for simpler times. The chorus of the song is especially catchy and the use of repetition emphasizes just how important spending time with someone can be.

Proud of you Stef for undertaking such a flight solo in the UK.
Whenever I get a chance to visit the UK will definitely take some flight instruction there.
Phillippe is an awesome resource, great instructor & hope you give him a real treat if he ever visits Australia & fly him around.
UK ATC is top notch & loved the video, especially seeing all the areas.
Please continue to do all these overseas flight adventures whenever you possibly can & if you ever get a chance to fly in Greece, speak to Kyprianos Biris @ Hellas AOPA who knows Nikos Wings very well.

Confidence reminds us once in a while that we're still human & we should be adventurous, yet cautious in the face of obvious danger & risk.
Ps (edit). Air Alderney ICAO is PUF & their callsign is PUFFIN.

Love that giddy little kid grin after you get the traffic service confirmed.

@VL3861

@StefanDrury

Interesting to hear the subtle differences and similar hey? Thanks for watching.

@afirgaming

Considering you're production levels, and the fact you almost always have a story to tell, lesson to explain, or wisdom to share, it shocks me how underrated this channel is. I'm not even a pilot, or really an aspiring pilot anymore, but you produce such solid content, I'll always watch.

And after watching your around the world announcement, I realized I've been a subscriber for years. Time flies, man - even if I don't.

@StefanDrury

Thank you for this comment, that's a very kind thing to take the time to say to someone. I'm grateful to have you here in the community, and knowing that that stories I make here on YouTube are still being enjoyed is so motivating for me to keep improving and make more entertaining stories for you. So thanks again, that's a great comment to read at the start of the week.

@@StefanDrury You're very welcome. As a below average writer (as evidenced by using "you're" in my original comment - it hurts my soul so bad), I understand how much of ourselves we put on display to the world when we endeavor to create. It ain't easy, my friend.

Some years ago I made a comment we should go for a run together. I'm just gonna' keep mentioning it every now and then!

@fireflyrobert

Stefan great video! You are correct that (legally) there is no requirement to talk to anyone on the radio in Class G airspace in the UK. However it makes sense to utilise any ATC/Radar services which are available and around the London area Farnborough Radar do a superb job at keeping an eye out for you.
Re confidence I've always like the saying that the superior pilot uses his superior judgement to avoid getting into situations where he has to use his superior skill.
Confidence comes from competence. In some ways you're probably safer when in a slightly unfamiliar situation like you were on this flight as you're more on your toes looking for the gotchas.

@davevanbeers6944

Thanks Stef! I really like these videos where you fly outside of Australia. I hope to see you flying abroad more, to prep for your around the world trip in a few years. 😊

@StefanDrury

Thanks Dave, this is the first of a few flying outside of Aus, more to come!
