Their follow-up single "A Better Love" became a Hot 100 Top 20 hit, and they returned to #1 on the dance chart with "Come Back" (Hot 100 #62).
In 1995, Londonbeat entered the UK heats of the Eurovision Song Contest with "I'm Just Your Puppet on a ... (String)", however they were not selected to go to the main contest (losing out to rap group Love City Groove) and the single limped in at Number 55.
In 2003 Londonbeat re-grouped with a new line up and signed to German record label Coconut. An album called Back in the Hi-Life featured re-recordings of "A Better Love" and "I've Been Thinkin About You" amongst the new tracks.
Marc Goldschmitz left the band in 2004, now pushing his german-indie-pop-projekt "die Unerklärlichen".

When we thought we were just friends
'Cause I miss you, baby
And I've got those feelings again
I guess I'm all confused about you
I feel so in love
Oh baby
I've been thinking about you
I've been thinking about you
I've been thinking about you (oh yeah)
I've been thinking about you (ooh, chi-pow-pow)
Hey, suddenly we're strangers
I watch you walking away
She was my one temptation
Oh, I did not want her to stay
Deep down, I'm still confused about you
Oh, yes I am, baby
I feel so in love
Oh baby
What can I do?
I've been thinking about you
I've been thinking about you
I've been thinking about you (oh yeah)
I've been thinking about you (got you on my mind)
I've been thinking about you
I've been thinking about you
I've been thinking about you
Oh, thinking about you
Got you on my mind (chi-pow-pow)
(Chi-pow-pow)
Hey, what good is being here without you?
I wanna know
I feel so in love
Oh baby, what can I do?
I've been thinking about you
I've been thinking about you
I've been thinking about you (ooh yeah)
I've been thinking about you (oh)
I've been thinking about you
(I can't get you off my mind)
I've been thinking about you
I've been thinking about you (you're with me, baby)
(I think about you all the time)
Thinking about you (oh)
I've been thinking about you (got you on my mind)
I've been thinking about you
I've been thinking about you
The first verse of "I've Been Thinking About You" by Londonbeat describes a situation where the singer and the person they are addressing were close friends who thought they were no more than that. However, the singer's feelings have changed, and they are now missing this person and experiencing those romantic feelings again. The second verse sees the singer's one-time crush walking away with them starting to realize how confused they truly are, feeling deep down in love, but unsure of what to do. The chorus is repeated throughout the song and further highlights the singer's thoughts and feelings towards this person, with the bridge emphasizing that they cannot imagine being without this person and want to know what to do.
One interpretation of the song's lyrics is that the singer has realized that they are in love with their friend, and now that their friend is no longer in their life, they can't stop thinking about them. Despite their initial confusion about their feelings, they discover that they are deeply in love, leaving them unsure what to do next. The singer's promise in the chorus to keep thinking about this person reinforces that they cannot help thinking about them and cannot move on without figuring out the next steps.
