Mi calle
Lone Star Lyrics

Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na
Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na
Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na
Doy mi dirección, a quien brindo mi amistad,
The lyrics of Lone Star's song Mi calle paint a picture of a dismal neighborhood where poverty, sickness, and darkness reign. The first two lines of the song set the bleak tone by describing how the area lacks electricity, and the children there are shoeless and unhealthy. Despite the occasional vehicle that passes through the narrow street, the road becomes entirely impassable during the rainy season. Nevertheless, the singer of the song remains hopeful that their fate will one day change.
The singer then reveals that they have given their address to friends, but they still don't visit. Only by chance, the singer sees acquaintances at the bar with women. The scene portrays a sense of detachment and abandonment from peers in the scenario of poverty. It's almost as if the singer's situation is too much for people to witness or bear. The verse also highlights the community's marginalization and the irony of how people can be friends, but distance despite hardship.
Lone Star's Mi calle is a melancholy tune that explores themes of poverty, isolation, and the hope for a better future. It depicts a picture of a neighborhood where people endure unfavourable living conditions, where the hope of a better tomorrow is all that keeps them going.

A few cars come and go through the narrow street,

Gracias Lone Star!!!!
