It′s time to leave this awfull place
You can walk for miles and not see a smile
And no one knows our different ways
Cause its beign a while
Just going through the tiles...

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of Lorn's song Soft Room paint a picture of feeling trapped and suffocated in an environment that lacks positivity and a sense of community. The phrase "It's time to leave this awful place" suggests a desire to escape, and the subsequent line "You can walk for miles and not see a smile" reinforces the sense of isolation and loneliness. The line "And no one knows our different ways cause it's been a while" adds another layer to this theme of detachment - it's as if the singer feels like they've been gone too long so nobody can truly relate to them anymore. The final line "Just going through the tiles" conjures images of walking aimlessly through a mundane environment, highlighting the sense of stagnation.

Overall, the themes of Soft Room revolve around feeling disconnected from others and yearning for something more fulfilling. Through the use of vivid imagery and concise lyrics, Lorn effectively conveys these emotions and transports the listener into the singer's perspective.

[Verse]
It's time to leave this awful place
You can walk for miles and not see a smile
And no one knows our different ways
Because it's been a while
It's carved into the tile

[Verse]
It's time to leave this awful place
You can walk for miles and not see a smile
And no one knows our different ways
Because it's been a while
It's carved into the tile

Into the tile, into the tile, into the tile, into the tile
Into the tile, into the tile, into the tile, into the tile
It's carved into the tile
Into the tile, into the tile, into the tile, into the tile
Into the tile, into the tile, into the tile
It's carved into the tile

One of the best parts about Sleeping Dogs was the soundtrack and the city. It just felt alive. It's a shame it will never get a proper open world sequel. Returning to Hong Kong with current gen technology could be amazing.

@snowiblind

+Bruce Wayne I heard the devs are thinking about making a actual sequel. If they do, they need to keep Ninja Tune radio, easily my favorite songs are there

@cortanathelawless1848

+Steelflex especially with a lot more to do and a focus on the mafia aspekt,slowly working higher and getting more responsibilities and power

@XEM_Ajax

Steelflex I mean there is the definitive edition with new cut scenes new sidequests and much better graphics. I would compare the graphics to forza horizon 3 that's how good they are.

Glad I'm not the only one that feels this way. I'm playing it right now as we speak. The replay value is incredible. Sleeping Dogs is in my top 5 for sure. Soundtrack, city feel, everything.
