I speak for myself, when i say, that this game is one of my favourite in the entire franchise, it received too much hate and stupidity from annoying fans back then.
Connor had too much dedication, devotion and atitude. Its funny, when you are playing Assassins Creed lll, the game feels so correct in the both sides (Templars and Assassins) giving us the oportunity to have an experience of different ideas. To choose our own decisions. In some point in the game, i was with Haytham, in others with Connor.
For me, there's no enemies in this game, only two factions with different ideas.
I played, all the entire franchise and this game is the only one, that you are feeling that the Assassins persuit an empty goal and the templars only want to follow an order, direction and purpose.
This part of the game, speak for itself!
PS: I'm so happy about the Remaster, AC lll is one of the best! And Connor is the best Assassin!

Connor honestly has the biggest heart out of all of the AC MCs.
Col. Barrett: "Chin up, friend. Many who should have died today live because of you."
Connor: "What about them?" (Gesturing towards the battlefield, strewn with dead bodies)
Col. Barrett: "We do the best we can with what we've got."
Connor: "It is not enough."
Col. Barrett: "Hm... It never is."
Juno: "It will never be enough. You strive for that which does not exist. Still, you have made a difference, and will do so again.
He never did trust the Patriots, but he had to put his faith in them and hope that they would protect his people in return. And, in the end, Washington tries to destroy his village, and on top of that, it's revealed that he was behind the attack on the village that killed Connor's mother, not Lee. His people turn his back on him, and Kanento:kon tries to kill him, forcing Connor to kill his best friend, and his people are forced to flee to the west in order to escape the antagonism of the Patriots that Connor had put his faith in. And then Achilles, the closest thing Connor has to a real father figure, dies shortly after they have a big argument over Haytham, and they never got to say proper goodbyes to each other. All this after Connor watches his mother burn alive when he was just a kid. And then being forced to kill his own father when he wanted to try and turn Haytham over to his side. His life was nothing but one tragedy after another, and in the end, he had to carry on alone to kill Lee and rebuild the Brotherhood, because nobody else will. All before he even reached his 25th birthday.

Connor is the most realistic character in the Assassins Creed franchise. He fought for his people and lost everything. He is so relatable.
Piotrek
and how somebody can say that is the worst assassins creed game?
Ibrahim
@Piotrek ignorant people who cherry pick certain things like the climbing not being the best etc say it's bad, I've always loved ac3
namara
@Piotrek Because of Connor's character development. He was naive from the start of the game and is still naive by the end. There was a speech that showed Connor really did learn throughout his journey but unfortunately it was deleted 😐. I still like to believe Connor did learn, although it wasn't shown. It's just unfortunate that Ubisoft decided to remove Connor's speech. That speech could change people's opinions about Connor.

@namara a lot of my issue with the game stems from Connors agency he never does anything for himself he does it for George Washington Benjamin Franklin haythem or some other character he needed to be more independent as a character not a pawn for others
Aria Abdi
He lost his mother, he have to kill his friend and father, nad his lost his master 😢
Jauhar Shahbaz
Those who completed this game 100% know the real character of Connor. The homestead missions really brought the caring Connor from a brutal, stoic, fearless killer.
Ali M.Lateef
He failed to save his mother from the fire
He killed his best friend
He killed his father
