Soon after they contracted with Zafiro Records, the record compay released their record on the new sub label called Novola.In Nov '64 they debuted with a LP and two EPs and 2 singles.
Some songs they sung in English and another in Spanish.One of those singles,"Flamenco" got to Number one in Spain in early 1965. It was fab spanish flamenco rock.They did more Top one hits like "Borracho" and "Tu Me Dijiste Adios".Their second album, called 'Los Brincos' was released in a box with a 12 page colour booklet.
In late 1966, Juan & Junior left the band to pursue a career as a pop duo. Fernando and Manolo soldiered on and recruited Vicente and Ricky for the new Brincos. With a heavier pop sound, they kept releasing good singles in 1967. In 1968, they somewhat mellowed their sound. After releasing 3 more albums, they disbanded in the early 70's.

La letra de El Pasaporte, de Los Brincos, es un grito de desesperación hacia una persona que no confiaba en otra, y que gracias a que le echó un vistazo a su pasaporte descubrió que había estado viajando por el mundo. En el comienzo de la canción, el narrador claramente tiene sus dudas, pero necesitaba una prueba más tangible para confirmarlas. Y ese objeto fue el pasaporte.

LOS BRINCOS en la HIST del rock and roll en ESP tienen la virtud de haber compuesto su propio material y no ponerse a abusar de los covers lo cual ponia contra las cuerdas a muchas bandas en los 60s.LOS BEATLES, y LOS ROLLING STONES esgrimieron esta independencia cosa que idolos de los 50s y primeros 60s del rock and roll, incluso anglosajones tenian que depender de compositores tanto internos como foraneos.Para los habladores de PENDEJADAS hay que estar mas que claro que,quizas, LOS BRINCOS se adelantaron a su epoca.De hecho, la historia en ESPAÑA los cataloga como LOS BEATLES iberoamericanos en algunos entendidos.ARBEX fue un talento muy brillante.
