After years of a successful career with "Los Bukis" Marco Antonio decided to pursue a solo career. At first Marco Antonio Solís was called "El Buki" but after an agreement with the rest of the band both parties agreed to not make use of the name. The new band is called Los Mismos ("the same ones") as in "the same members of Los Bukis".

Soy de los 80 ya habia escuchado canciones de este grupo mas nunca le habia puesto tanta atencion ya que otros grupos como bronco, temerarios, bukis etc. etc. digamoslo de esta manera lo opacaban, pero ahora poniendo atencion la verdad que chingon canta este señoron y que rolas excelente voz como que a unos grupos les falto quien los promocionara esata es mi oponion porque hay grupos que nunca los habia escuchado y tienen buenas canciones como que en la musica también hay mafias que los manejan.
