Su popularidad nacional e internacionalmente se la dio La Flor de la Canela, luego vendrían éxitos como Arrullo, Yo te perdono, Cariño, China Caprichosa, entre otros.

Entre las primeras voces que formaron parte de esta representativa agrupacion, junto a los hermanos Washington y Rolando Gomez figuran, Javier Cox, Humberto Pecovez, Oscar "Pajarito" Bromley, Ricardo Luna, Jorge Reategui y Michel Urbano.
