Me Gusta Tomar Cerveza
Los Originales De San Juan Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Es como mi medicina
Si hace calo me refresca
Si estoi triste me reanima
Por eso tomo cerveza
Porque me alegra la vida
Me la paso dando vueltas
Montado en mi camioneta
Es una escalade del año
Con cartones de cerveza
Que hasta hielera me cargo
Me gusta tomar cerveza...
Y pasarme bien el rato...
No quiero pensar en esa
Que se que no me ase caso
Por eso tomo cerveza
Para no sentir tan gacho
Oiga mi compadre chapo
Que buenas rolas me pone
Son puras que me dan sed
Como que me las compone,
Para calmarme esta vez
Ponme corridos perrones
Me gusta tomar cerveza...
Y pasarme bien el rato...
No quiero pensar en esa
Que se que no me ase caso
Por eso tomo cerveza
Para no sentir tan gacho
Los Originales de San Juan sings about their love for beer in the song "Me Gusta Tomar Cerveza" ("I Like to Drink Beer"). The lyrics explain that beer is like medicine for the singer, refreshing them in hot weather and reviving their spirits when they're feeling down. The beer is also a way for them to enjoy themselves and forget about their problems, particularly a woman who isn't interested in them.
The lyrics paint a picture of the singer driving around their neighborhood in their Escalade with cardboard boxes of beer, even using the car as a makeshift cooler. They also mention their friend Chapo, who plays them good music that makes them thirsty for beer.
Overall, the song celebrates the joy and comfort that beer brings to the singer. It's a simple pleasure that makes their life a little brighter and helps them forget about their troubles, even if only for a little while.
