In 1982, three guys from Concepción, Álvaro Henríquez, Roberto Titae Lindl, and Pancho Molina started a band called Los Dick Stones, whose set list was based on songs by Chuck Berry, Elvis Presley, and Gene Vincent. They quickly became very popular in universities, bars, and peñas around the southern city of Concepción. Given their ambition to achieve success in the Chilean mainstream, they decided to move to the capital city of Santiago and changed their name to Los Tres. In 1988 Ángel Parra joined the band and even though Los Tres is Spanish for "the three", they decided to keep the name.
During years when culture and art began to rise again -after the cultural and night life had been reduced for almost 20 years due to the military regime that had ruled Chile since 1973-, the times were right for their music to develop and their popularity to grow. They recorded 9 albums during their first stage together, from 1982 until 2000.
In 2000 the band went into an indefinite break and its members continued their musical careers in personal projects.
On 2006 Los Tres, with the exception of Pancho Molina, announced their reunion including a show in May, the festival Vive Latino in Mexico City, and a show in Santiago de Chile. The first single Camino was already released. Their tenth album (Hágalo usted mismo) was a result of this reunion. The band is still together.

Tan bonita y tan gentil?
¿Quién es la que viene hacia mí?
Es la que esperaba yo
Dulce nena de mi amor
En mi vida he visto algo mejor
Esa es mi nena, nena
La puede igualar
Todo, todo está arreglado
Ella me ha aceptado
Y nos vamos a casar
A casar
A casar
Señor cura nos preguntará
Esa es mi nena, nena
Dulce y buena, nadie
La puede igualar, brrr, hey
¿Quién es la que viene allí
Tan bonita y tan gentil?
¿Quién es la que viene hacia mí?
Es la que esperaba yo
Dulce nena de mi amor
En mi vida he visto algo mejor
Esa es mi nena, nena
Dulce y buena, nadie
La puede igualar
Todo, todo está arreglado
Ella me ha aceptado
Y nos vamos a casar
A casar
A casar
Señor cura nos preguntará
Esa es mi nena, nena
Linda y buena, nadie
La puede igualar
The song "Quien es la que viene alli" by Los Tres is a romantic love song that expresses the singer's excitement and joy when he sees his beloved walking towards him. The lyrics are in Spanish, which adds to the romantic and heartfelt nature of the song. The singer describes the woman as beautiful, kind, and gentle, and he marvels at how lucky he is to have found her. He believes that she is the best thing he has ever seen and cannot imagine anyone being better than her.
The excitement of the song is heightened by the fact that the singer announces that they are going to get married. He is overjoyed that she has accepted his proposal and cannot wait to spend the rest of his life with her. The singer expresses his love and admiration for his bride-to-be, describing her as sweet, good-natured, and unique. He is confident that nobody can compare to her and sings her praises with enthusiasm and ardour. The chorus of the song, which repeats several times, is a declaration of love for his sweet and kind nena.
