Lost in Tears Lyrics

Beautiful bride with a black eye
Beautiful angel she flew and fell
Straight into the pits of hell
She flew straight in the flames of hell
Beautiful rose with torn up clothes
Beautiful angel she flew and fell
Straight into the pits of hell
She flew straight in the flames of hell
The lyrics of Lost in Tears' song "She Died" depict the tragic fate of a beautiful woman, portrayed as a rose, a bride, and an angel. Each verse describes her physical deterioration, with a bloody nose, black eye, and torn clothes, which culminates in her death and descent into hell. The repetition of the phrase "beautiful" emphasizes the contrast between her outward appearance and her inner turmoil, as well as the irony of her downfall despite her beauty. The use of fire and flames as a metaphor for hell reflects the intensity of her suffering and the finality of her fate.
The song's themes are derived from gothic and romantic literature, which often explore the darker aspects of human nature and the conflict between beauty and pain. It also touches upon the topic of domestic abuse, as suggested by the black eye and torn clothes, and the idea of a woman being trapped in a destructive relationship. The lyrics convey a sense of powerlessness and despair, as the woman is unable to escape her fate despite her beauty and grace.

It's usually pretty common that the bigger the disaster, the less people become emotional. We hit a certain point and then the actual horror of the matter is just numbed out by facts and figures. What typically brings people back to emotions are the personal stories.
Now, I'm a news junkie. The media that I consumed (MSNBC, NBC national news, ABC national news) covered the Vegas shooting for a solid three weeks afterward. And that's not counting online articles, articles in newspapers, and other sources of news.
It may be that the Vegas shooting could be seen as being less well covered is because no one could find a motive for the shooting. No one knows why the shooter did what he did. We have at least some motive for the Pulse shooter, leading to it making headlines every so often.
For me, the Pulse shooting is more emotional because it happened near where I grew up (Florida) and targeted a minority group that I am part of (LGBT community). It could have been any Gay club (and there are many) that was shot up that night. It just happened to be Pulse in Orlando.
The Vegas shooting, while horrific, is not as emotional because I don't have that connection. I'm sure that if I lived in the area or knew people who had been there that night I would feel very different.

Reporters should never be afraid to cry. Crying is apart of our human nature. When reporters cry, they are just showing their humanity.
