Savior of the Universe
Flash ah ah
He'll save every one of us
(Seemingly there is no reason for these extraordinary intergalactical upsets)
(What's happening Flash?)
(Only Doctor Hans Zarkhov, formerly at NASA, has provided any explanation)
Flash ah ah
He's a miracle
(This morning's unprecedented solar eclipse is no cause for alarm)
Flash ah ah
King of the impossible
He's for every one of us
Stand for every one of us
He save with a mighty hand
Every man, every woman
Every child, with a mighty
Flash
(General Kala, Flash Gordon approaching)
(What do you mean Flash Gordon approaching?
Open fire
All weapons
Dispatch war rocket Ajax to bring back his body)
Flash ah ah
(Gordon's alive)
Flash ah ah
He'll save every one of us
Just a man
With a man's courage
You know he's
Nothing but a man
And he can never fail
No one but the pure at heart
May find the Golden Grail
Oh oh
(Flash, Flash, I love you,
But we only have fourteen hours to save the earth)
Flash
Louis Clark's song "Flash" is a tribute to the fictional superhero, Flash Gordon. The track was produced for the eponymously titled British-American science fiction film, "Flash Gordon," which was released in 1980. The soundtrack album comprises pop and rock songs by Queen and incidental music by Howard Blake and Louis Clark. "Flash" is one of the several pop/rock hits from the album, and the song has an upbeat tempo with a catchy chorus that won't leave one's head.
The first verse of the lyrics is a rallying call suggesting that Flash is the savior of the universe, and he will save every one of us. While Doctor Hans Zarkhov seems to be the only available person giving an explanation for the strange happenings in the universe, Flash is seen as the one that can mitigate the crisis. The second verse proclaims Flash as a miracle and king of the impossible, making him the only one to deal with such intergalactical upsets. The bridge talks about Flash-saving every man, woman, and child with his mighty hands, showing how he is the universal superhero. The final verse shows that Flash is simply human, but the pure of heart shall find him and accompany him in his quest.
The song's meaning lies within the context of the movie it was produced for. However, on its own, the song shows the singer's admiration for the superhero, whose courage and undaunted spirit continue to inspire many even today. The song calls listeners to imagine ideal superheroes who can save them from emotional, physical, and mental challenges, highlighting the basic human need for hope during difficult times.

Tengo el DVD (grabado) del concierto, lo grabó TV Azteca, cuando lo conseguí me comentaron que Louis Clark no quería ceder los derechos para ser publicado o transmitido. Es muy bueno, también estuve ahí.!!
