When she was fifteen years old, Setara signed a management contract with Kwame Kwaten, who was manager also of Mick Jagger and Seal. Kwaten spent a lot of time trying to find the right style of music for her, and worked on this also with several known producers. In addition, it was necessary to find an artist name, as Smith would not be attractive. So, the name Setara was chosen, meaning "little star" in one of India's languages, as suggested by a neighbour.
In September 2006, at the age of 18, Setara came up with her first album, "Still Waters", with several songs co-written by herself.
Setara lives presently in Farnbourough, England.
Homeless
Louise Setara Lyrics

To keep out pretenders
And keep you in the dark
And all the windows and the doors
They all lead to nowhere
Just one corridor
We are crying to be found
All around
Without love we are homeless
Searching in the darkness
For a place where the heartless
And all we need is somewhere to belong
You are lost
Until you find the one that makes you whole
Thats when you're home
You might try to have it all
The things you have you have not
One day the truth will fall
It will take you to a place
Where you know you will surrender
To a higher state of grace
And the fortune says that you build
They can't defend you
You'll find still
Without love we are homeless
Searching in the darkness
For a place where the heartless
All we need is somewhere to belong
You were lost
Til you find the one that makes you whole
Thats when you find your home
Homeless
Without love we are homeless
Searching in the darkness
For a place where the heartless
And all we need is somewhere to belong
You are lost
Til you find the one that makes you whole
Without love we are homeless
Searching in the darkness(can't find the place)
For a place where the heartless(where the heartless)
And all we need is somewhere to belong
You were lost
Until you find the one that makes you whole
Thats when you find your home
Homeless
Homeless
The lyrics of Louise Setara's "Homeless" speaks of the feeling of being lost and without a sense of belonging, where love is the missing piece to finding a home within yourself. The song begins with the comparison of the walls around the heart to the walls built around a physical home, serving as a barrier from the outside world. The lines "All the windows and the doors, they all lead to nowhere, just one corridor" highlight the idea of being trapped and stuck in one place when you have built walls to keep yourself protected.
The song moves on to the idea that we are all crying to be found, for a sense of direction and purpose. The metaphor of stars drifting around without direction conveys our search for a place where we belong. The chorus emphasizes the importance of love in finding our way home, and the consequence of being without it - the feeling of homelessness, searching in darkness for something to hold onto. The line "You are lost, until you find the one that makes you whole, that's when you're home" brings the song to a hopeful end, conveying the message that finding love brings us back to our true selves.
Overall, the lyrics of "Homeless" is a beautiful, heartfelt message about the importance of love and connection in our lives. It highlights the concept of finding a place where we can belong, and ultimately find our way home.
