Bye Bye Bye - Lovestoned

When I see you,
Looking back at me
Watching this eye still
Through your fingers

And your eyes have told thousands lights
But I can't tell this time
What you really meant
we've been crossing the wires,
And still no spark.
Lost in tight, falling apart.

We've been together forever tell me why why why.
Tell me how could you turn around and say goodbye bye bye bye.
And the only thing that's left to do is cry cry cry,
Not left me the city, you bye bye bye.

I can sing another broken song,
Crying to hold on to your picture,
Out of face, you hide behind your face,
It's more than what i can take move around the people

We've been crossing the wire,
And still no spark.
Lost in tight, falling apart.

We've been together forever tell me why why why.
Tell me how could you turn around and say goodbye bye bye bye.
And the only thing that's left to do is cry cry cry,
Not left me the city, you bye bye bye.

You left me hanging on the light
Why u still know my type
You take a piss of me

You've been driving too slow
So i gotta let you go before you break me. em ayaah.

We've been together forever tell me why why why
Tell me how could you turn around and say goodbye bye bye bye
And the only thing that's left to do is cry cry cry,
Not left me the city, you bye bye bye

We've been together forever tell me why why why
Tell me how could you turn around and say goodbye bye bye bye
And the only thing that's left to do is cry cry cry,

Not left me the city, you bye bye bye
Bye bye

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to "Bye Bye Bye" by Lovestoned touch on themes of heartbreak, confusion, and the difficulties of communication in a relationship. The first verse speaks to the frustration of trying to read someone's body language and interpret their mixed signals. The singer can't discern what their partner truly means and they feel like their attempts to connect are going nowhere - "we've been crossing the wires, and still no spark." The chorus sees the singer grappling with the sudden end of the relationship and their partner's decision to leave. They're left feeling lost and in pain, unable to fathom why things turned out this way. The second verse seems to reflect on the aftermath of the breakup, with the singer dwelling on memories and feeling like they're grasping at straws to try and hold on to a connection that's no longer there. The bridge of the song shifts from mournful to bitter, with the singer calling out their ex for mistreating them and indicating that they're ready to let go and move on.

Overall, "Bye Bye Bye" is a sad yet cathartic song that captures the complicated emotions that come with the end of a relationship. It explores the ways in which we try to connect with and understand others, only to realize how fragile those bonds can be.

(What I heard)

Well I see you
looking back at me,
watching as I slip
through your fingers.
And your eyes
have told a thousand lies.
But I can tell this time
that you really mean it.

Got hooked to this song by surfing the Chinese online shopping platform. Tried searching it from the lyrics and ended up here. The lyrics though, was kinda off. I tried to find other versions, but that was no good, too. I’ll just stick to my version of it and hum it to myself, eh.

This song is even more popular in China than it ever was in the west. It comes on at coffee shops, restaurants, there’s no escaping it ☺️

@Sandra-mf2eo

@@NYNYRaider Aw, what a pity. This song is not as popular in China as in its peak year back in 2017.
