I'm using this for my presentation about the 1950s, wish me luck. But after this song, i don't think bad luck can stop me.

The great Lowell Fulson!  He gets in on two ends of the commercial blues  music market.  Producers refused to believe that The Blues could crack the popular markets so they fought the true blues people on presentation styles. Here in this piece they try to make Lowell Fulson into brand of Blues that passes for swing.  Later in his career they tried to make him a rocker (check out 'Rock This Morning').  But Fulson was the true Blues man and community communicator (listen to Swining Party or Tramp).  Love this cat just like I love Elmore James.  UUUUmmm, UUUUU,mmmmm good!

an keep her home at any price.. unusual cut in that Lowell is singing but not playing his signature guitar.. and as the oak she moke she pop moniker hints.. sounds a bit like Big Joe Turner.
