Mi Niña Bonita
Lucho Barrios Lyrics

Les debe pasar lo mismo
Que cuando van a ser padres
Quisieran tener un niño
Luego te nace una niña
Sufres una decepcion
Y despues la quieres tanto
Que hasta cambias de opinion
Es mi ñina bonita
Con su carita de rosa
Es mi niña bonita
Cada día mas preciosa
Ay! es mi niña bonita
Hecha de nardo y clavel
Es mi niña bonita
Es mi niña bonita
Cuando la llegue a querer
Si un día se casa mi niña
Vestida de blanco armiño
Me acordare que soñaba
Con que al nacer fuera un niño
Por eso rezo y le pido
Al señor del gran poder
Que al hombre que se la lleve
La sepa siempre querer
The lyrics to Lucho Barrios’s song Mi Niña Bonita (My Beautiful Girl) are about a father’s love for his daughter. The first verse describes how most fathers secretly hope to have a son when they become fathers, but when a daughter is born instead, they are disappointed. However, the father quickly realizes that he loves his daughter so much that he changes his mind and begins to see her as the most beautiful thing in the world. In the chorus, the father sings about how his daughter is his beautiful girl with a face like a rose, and how he loves her more each day. The father is grateful for his daughter and the love she brings to his life, and he prays for her future happiness.
In the second verse, the father imagines his daughter getting married someday and walking down the aisle in a white dress. He remembers how he used to dream of having a son rather than a daughter, but now he prays that his daughter will marry someone who will love her as much as he does. The song expresses the love and devotion that a father has for his daughter, and how this love transcends any disappointment or regret he may have had in the beginning.
To summarize, Mi Niña Bonita is a beautiful song about a father's love for his daughter. The song is a tribute to the special bond between a father and his daughter and how it can overcome any disappointment or regret a father may have initially felt.

Gracias a mi viejito lindo.
