Lucia Micarelli Lyrics

Sa t'wing ika'y iniisip
Mga pag-asang nasira
Wala ng tiwala
Woah… Woah…
Huminga ng malalim
Parang nagsisisi
The lyrics of Lucia Micarelli's song Aurora touch upon themes of broken hopes, loss of confidence, and the need to let go in order to move on. The opening lines convey a feeling of darkness and hopelessness, with the skies appearing dark and gloomy whenever the focus is on the subject of the song. The lines "Mga pag-asang nasira, Wala ng tiwala" suggest that previous aspirations have been crushed, and there is no longer any faith in positive outcomes. The chorus encourages the listener to refrain from looking too deeply into painful situations that only cause more distress, and instead, to let go and set themselves free from the anguish. The repeated "Woah... woah..." acts as a release of emotions, giving the song a sense of catharsis.
The second verse repeats the central theme of self-reflection and acknowledgement of truth, speaking about breathing deeply, finding regret, and the act of looking in the mirror to realign oneself. The song's title, Aurora, suggests that the song is about a new beginning, a rising sun following a dark night. The bridge of the song is one of its main parts, where the lyrics "Sumpaan natin, Walang makakapigil, 'Wag nating ayusin, Nasa huli ang pagsisisi" inspires a feeling of determination and solidarity. The final repetition of "At kung lagi lang tayong nasasaktan, Iwasan na lang natin magtinginan, At kung 'di mo kayang tiisin ang iyong nararamdaman, Oo na, malaya ka na" emphasizes the need to move past our pain and not let it consume us.
