Luciana Souza Lyrics

Only in a lover's dreams
Flowing day as into night
Love is never always right
Love's flame dimming brightly as
Our best weakness tries to forgive
Holding that which can't be held
Faith's doubt proudly depths above
And as humbly heights below
Kneeling, we as lovers
Pray that we will once outgrow
In Luciana Souza's song "Tide", she reflects on the complexities of love and the challenges that come with it. The lyrics suggest that love is not always straightforward or easy, and that it can be a source of both joy and pain. Souza describes love as something that is often elusive and difficult to hold onto, something that we can only experience in fleeting moments, like the ebb and flow of the tide.
The first two lines of the song suggest that love is something that we can only experience in our dreams or fantasies, and that it is not a tangible reality. The next two lines acknowledge the passing of time and the fact that love is not always easy - it can be "never always right". The following lines describe the ups and downs of a relationship, with "love's flame dimming brightly" even as we try to forgive and hold on to what we have.
Ultimately, the song seems to suggest that love is something that we can never fully possess or understand. It is a mystery that we can only approach with humility and faith. The final lines of the song describe two lovers kneeling together in prayer, hoping that they will eventually outgrow the doubts and insecurities that keep them from fully experiencing the love that they share.
