1) Luciano (real name… Read Full Bio ↴There is more than one artist with this name:
1) Luciano (real name Patrick Großmann; born January 28, 1994 in Bautzen) is a German rapper from Berlin.
The son of a Mozambican father and a German mother, Luciano grew up mostly in the Schöneberg district of Berlin. He is a member of the rap crew Loco Squad Gang.
In 2020, Luciano was one of the first high-reach German-language rappers to release music in the internationally successful UK Drill style.
2. Luciano (born Jepther McClymont on October 20, 1964) is a Jamaican Roots Reggae artist. He first begun recording in 1992 under his first name Luciana, with his debut single "Ebony & Ivory" on the Aquarius Record label and followed with his debut album 'Moving Up' for RAS records in 1993. Luciano is the seventh of nine children and was born to extremely spiritual and musical parents while growing up in Daveyton, a small district in the central parish of Manchester, Jamaica.
2) Luciano, born in 1978 in Chile and raised in Switzerland. Started DJing in 1993 and producing electronic music since 1997. In the mid-90's, he was promoting Sense Club and Encuentros con la Technocultura in Santiago de Chile in the company of many initiators of the Latin American electronic music scene: Señor Coconut AKA Atom Heart, Ricardo Villalobos, Pier Bucci, Dandy Jack, Adrian Schopf, Washington Miranda, Argenix Brito, Microman, etc.
Luciano left Chile at 21 and moved to Europe (2000), settling in Geneva (Switzerland) to launch Mental Groove Records and holding a residency at the Weetamix club. He gradually invaded the inner reaches of electronic culture, forming a partnership with Ibiza’s most notorious underground club, Circoloco at DC10, which gave Luciano a perfect platform and a passionate audience for his irresistible, mind-altering blend of barebones techno and hot-blooded Latin rhythms. His releases appear on the Transmat, Perlon, Lo-Fi Stereo, Bruchstuecke and Klang Elektronik record labels.
Luciano's mixed Swiss & Chilean identity shows in his music, a somewhat mystical blend of deep techno & electro that integrates southern elements in rhythms and colourful patterns in sound. His collaborations with Ricardo Villalobos (Playhouse, Perlon, Warp, Force Inc etc.) as Sense Club are especially rewarding, as is his partnership with Pier Bucci and Argenix Brito as Monne Automne.
Mellowing his style as times goes by, getting more experimental and spacey with a fresh style of his own, Luciano’s production is destined to the wiser dancefloors.

Who send Joshau who is the son of Nun who brought I and I to cross river Jordan
though the Amorites, the Hittites (Hittites) and the Canaanite
and Perizzites all try to fight against the Israelites
Jah gave us victory before the day light
Cos’ we call on Jah (Jah) to redeem I and I inna ‘geddon
and I hail for I (Rastafari) defend I and I against babylon
yes I call on Jah (Jah) to raise I and I to ‘geddon
and I hail for I (Rastafari) defend I and I against the wicked one
we will conquer and take over the land that was promise
to our fathers we will share equally among our families
from Israel straight to Utopia callin upon all the Ipioshite (Ipioshite)
all you Nazzerites oh Israelites come along and let us rectify
let us rise and take our God given rights
Cos’ we call on Jah (Jah) to redeem I and I inna ‘geddon

I still image vain things sit before kings (deliver us from internal war) of the earth
Set themselves the rulers of the earth conjugate against the Lord
Against His anointed saints come over to break their asunder
And cast away the hands (free up israelites from the hands of the wicked)

The song "Call on Jah" by Luciano is a powerful message of hope and inspiration. It speaks of the challenges that the artist and his people are facing in their daily lives as they seek to conquer the wickedness that surrounds them. The lyrics touch on the theme of faith and the belief in the divine intervention of Jah, who has been present throughout history to protect and guide his people. Luciano describes the wicked as a multitude that is trying to conquer and lead his people into supplication. He acknowledges that it is through Jah, the divine power, that they will find salvation and be lifted up to 'Geddon, a utopian promised land.
It is interesting to note that Luciano draws from various biblical accounts to support his message. He references the story of Moses, Aaron, and Joshua, who led the Israelites to the promised land despite the struggles they faced with the Amorites, Hittites, Canaanites, and Perizzites. This vision of liberation and redemption is a clear parallel to the Rastafarian belief in the return of Emperor Haile Selassie I as the savior of black people. Luciano also invokes the Nazarites, who symbolize a people set apart for God only, and the Ipioshites, who represent the oppressed and suffering people.
In the end, "Call on Jah" is a song that encourages unity, faith in Jah, and a belief in the power of redemption, liberation, and protection. The haunting melody and the message of the song resonate with listeners all over the world who may be facing their battles with wickedness, oppression, or injustice.
