1) Luciano (real name Patrick Großmann; born January 28, 1994 in Bautzen) is a German rapper from Berlin.
The son of a Mozambican father and a German mother, Luciano grew up mostly in the Schöneberg district of Berlin. He is a member of the rap crew Loco Squad Gang.
In 2020, Luciano was one of the first high-reach German-language rappers to release music in the internationally successful UK Drill style.
2. Luciano (born Jepther McClymont on October 20, 1964) is a Jamaican Roots Reggae artist. He first begun recording in 1992 under his first name Luciana, with his debut single "Ebony & Ivory" on the Aquarius Record label and followed with his debut album 'Moving Up' for RAS records in 1993. Luciano is the seventh of nine children and was born to extremely spiritual and musical parents while growing up in Daveyton, a small district in the central parish of Manchester, Jamaica.
2) Luciano, born in 1978 in Chile and raised in Switzerland. Started DJing in 1993 and producing electronic music since 1997. In the mid-90's, he was promoting Sense Club and Encuentros con la Technocultura in Santiago de Chile in the company of many initiators of the Latin American electronic music scene: Señor Coconut AKA Atom Heart, Ricardo Villalobos, Pier Bucci, Dandy Jack, Adrian Schopf, Washington Miranda, Argenix Brito, Microman, etc.
Luciano left Chile at 21 and moved to Europe (2000), settling in Geneva (Switzerland) to launch Mental Groove Records and holding a residency at the Weetamix club. He gradually invaded the inner reaches of electronic culture, forming a partnership with Ibiza’s most notorious underground club, Circoloco at DC10, which gave Luciano a perfect platform and a passionate audience for his irresistible, mind-altering blend of barebones techno and hot-blooded Latin rhythms. His releases appear on the Transmat, Perlon, Lo-Fi Stereo, Bruchstuecke and Klang Elektronik record labels.
Luciano's mixed Swiss & Chilean identity shows in his music, a somewhat mystical blend of deep techno & electro that integrates southern elements in rhythms and colourful patterns in sound. His collaborations with Ricardo Villalobos (Playhouse, Perlon, Warp, Force Inc etc.) as Sense Club are especially rewarding, as is his partnership with Pier Bucci and Argenix Brito as Monne Automne.
Mellowing his style as times goes by, getting more experimental and spacey with a fresh style of his own, Luciano’s production is destined to the wiser dancefloors.

Toiling in the burning sun
Disappointed African
Doesn't even over stand
After so many years of sweat and tears
Still he's living in fear
Wondering if and when
Well, guess what's happening
A new day's dawning
See the black son's rising
Soon he will be free
See that poor disgruntled youth
Trying his best to know the truth
Why his ancestors have died
From those all who robbed and ruled
So many years of blood and stain
Still he's working in vain
Wondering if and when
He'll ever have his share
Well, guess what's happening
A new day's dawning
I see a new horizon
Soon he will be free
How could life be so unfair
He wonders how some get out there
Sitting in their rocking chair
While he's living in despair
After so many years of sweat and tears
Still he's living in fear
Wondering if and when
He's gonna have his share
Guess what's happening
I see a new day's dawning
I see the table is turning
Soon he will be free, yo, ho, ho
Guess what's happening
A new day's dawning
I see the table is turning
Soon he will be free, yo, ho, ho
Guess what's happening
I see the table is turning
See a new horizon
Soon he will be free
Guess what's happening
I see a new day's dawning
The song "Guess What's Happening" by Luciano is a powerful commentary on the struggles of African people and their fight for freedom and equality. The first verse paints a picture of a broken-hearted African man who has been toiling in the burning sun for many years, yet still lives in fear and uncertainty about when he will finally have his fair share. The second verse shifts the focus to a young person who is searching for answers about the injustices his ancestors endured at the hands of those who robbed and ruled over them. Both verses express the frustration, confusion, and pain that African people experience as a result of the legacy of slavery, colonialism, racism, and exploitation.
The chorus, "Guess what's happening, a new day's dawning, see the black son's rising, soon he will be free" is a message of hope and faith in the possibility of change and liberation. The song suggests that even though the struggle has been long and hard, there are signs of a new day dawning, a new horizon emerging, and a table turning. The repetition of the phrase "guess what's happening" creates a sense of anticipation and excitement, as if the singer is on the verge of revealing some great revelation or secret.
Overall, "Guess What's Happening" is a powerful and uplifting song that speaks to the resiliency, determination, and spirit of the African people in their quest for justice and freedom. It acknowledges the pain and suffering of the past, but also celebrates the hope and possibility of a brighter future.
