A young adult grappling with life's uncertainties and running from problems by pushing away loved ones.

Lost a couple loved ones above to all of the doves, the many issues but he sweeps em all underneath of the rug.
Ignoring problems, including the loss of loved ones.

He bottles up, He fights, He drinks, Late at night he just thinks.
Struggling with emotions and resorting to unhealthy coping mechanisms.

He lies awake, can't get a wink.
Having difficulty sleeping due to stress and anxiety.

Prepares himself to sink.
Feeling overwhelmed and hopeless.

Finally falls, slips into a dream that's commonly lucid.
Falling asleep and slipping into a lucid dream state.

Sees his name up in the lights and shoots it he cannot believe That anyone would wanna hear his words, Tell him to work on school and quit perfecting his verse.
Having a moment of doubt about his worth as an artist and being told to focus on education.

I mean really, what is he worth? One in a million. If only they knew what he's been through, bouncing back. He's resilient. Waiting for them to feel it, Close his wounds with a sealant. Eyes are glued to the pen and paper, he's gonna reveal it No you can't.
Despite doubts, he knows he is resilient and will use his pain to create meaningful art.

Ever since I was a little kid, I knew exactly what I really wanted to be. Working real hard with an attitude only resulting in money for my family. Even though we have been broken apart, I'll make it all change, I promise you'll see. On my feet, tell my loved ones that I will never leave.
Determined to achieve success for himself and his family despite challenges, and promising to never give up on loved ones.

Apologize for the disappointments I made throughout my life. I know that I fucked up, but I promise I won't make em twice. I'm cold as ice. But I can't keep blaming em on the girl who I thought would be my wife, and have my kids. The only two reasons I started to write.
